Dr. Feng Xiao's Full Speech at Bitcoin Asia 2025: "ETF is Good! DAT is Better!"
This article records Dr. Feng Xiao's speech at Bitcoin Asia 2025, arguing that DAT (Digital Asset Treasury) may be more suitable than ETFs for crypto asset investment due to stronger liquidity, higher price elasticity, and more appropriate leverage. The main difference between DAT and ETF lies in valuation: DAT uses market cap-based valuation, resulting in greater price volatility, while ETF uses NAV-based valuation, leading to lower volatility. ETFs are better suited for traditional equity assets, whereas DATs are better aligned with crypto investments.
