SmartCon is Chainlink's annual flagship event and one of the industry’s premier conferences, bringing together leaders from finance, Web3, and government to explore the convergence of traditional finance and the on-chain world. Last year, Chainlink brought the third SmartCon to Asia, hosting it in Hong Kong with great acclaim. This year, Chainlink returns to the city where SmartCon was first held—New York, the capital of round-the-clock finance—for a two-day event on November 4–5 to share the most critical developments in the blockchain industry and explore the future of the global financial system.
Chainlink has been a pioneer in bridging blockchain technology with traditional finance, establishing on-chain collaborations with multiple central banks, government agencies, and major financial institutions. Continuing its focus on the integration of traditional finance and DeFi, this year’s SmartCon brings together government representatives, financial institutions, and leading Web3 projects to discuss how blockchain technology is reshaping markets, public services, and the global economy.
Speakers include U.S. Representative Bryan Steil of Wisconsin, an original co-sponsor of the House crypto market structure bill CLARITY Act; Patrick Witt, Executive Director of the White House Digital Assets Advisory Committee; David Mills, Senior Deputy Director at the Federal Reserve Board; along with representatives from top institutions and leading DeFi projects including Euroclear, DTCC, Swift, JPMorgan Chase, UBS, WisdomTree, Citibank, Fidelity, Aave, Ondo, Solana, 21X, and Maple Finance.

This year’s SmartCon sponsors further highlight the growing convergence between traditional industries and blockchain, collectively shaping how global markets move on-chain, advancing the next phase of Web3 evolution, and demonstrating how on-chain technologies can enhance trust, transparency, and efficiency within government systems.
