ELDE to launch on Binance Alpha, what to expect from the Kaia gaming ecosystem?
Will Kaia's blockchain games replicate the Ton ecosystem boom?

On the evening of May 26, Binance Wallet announced the nineteenth TGE project as Elderglade (ELDE), scheduled from 16:00 to 18:00 on May 27, 2025. Participation requires Alpha points. An additional 16 million ELDE tokens will be allocated for future events.
Simultaneously, ELDE will also launch on Bybit Megadrop.

Elderglade is a pixel-style retro MMORPG looting game and one of the first titles to launch on Line Dapp Portal. It features classic RPG turn-based combat mechanics.

Currently, Elderglade is primarily a PvP match-3 mobile game that has rapidly accumulated 3 million monthly active users. According to official data, daily matchmaking exceeds 4 million matches. The development team later announced on social media plans to launch an immersive AI-driven MMORPG featuring AI-generated wilderness maps and AI NPCs with memory and personality, ensuring unique adventure experiences and eliminating repetitive grinding. The game blends turn-based strategy from Heroes of Might and Magic with Diablo-style loot mechanics, combined with an "animal heroes" theme to create a differentiated experience. Finally, leveraging Kaia Chain, it enables NFT asset on-chain integration and $ELDE token circulation, allowing players to trade equipment, manage town buildings (such as taverns and blacksmiths), and even earn passive income through "Farm Cards."

Elderglade claims over 11 million mobile users, surpassing the combined total of Axie Infinity, Pixels, and STEPN. As a flagship blockchain game supported by the Kaia public chain, Elderglade leverages Line to reach broad markets across East Asia (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan) and Southeast Asia, where players from Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan account for over 60% of its user base. The game claims a 20.5% conversion rate—three times that of Candy Crush, AFK Arena, and Genshin Impact. Monthly revenue reaches $1–2 million, exceeding Star Atlas, Illuvium, and Off the Grid. It has generated over 3.7 million transactions, surpassing the combined totals of Decentraland and The Beacon. With more than 7 million wallets, it exceeds The Sandbox and Big Time in wallet count. Its ARPPU reaches 7.11, higher than PUBG and Clash of Clans, and its MMORPG waitlist exceeds the pre-launch scales of WoW Classic, New World, and GW2.
Elderglade is developed by W3Forge, a game studio with over 20 employees as listed on its official website. Funding details remain undisclosed.

The studio previously released a Web3 horse racing game called Zkrace in 2021.

$ELDE is the native utility token of the Elderglade ecosystem. It supports gameplay, trading, NFT minting, staking rewards, and asset upgrades. In the current match-3 mobile game, players can use $ELDE to purchase boosters and energy refills, access premium quests and special events, compete for leaderboard rewards, and unlock time-limited bonuses. Monthly in-game transaction revenue has reached $300,000–$500,000.
To address common inflation and reward imbalance issues in Play-to-Earn models, Elderglade claims to adopt a relatively "closed-loop" economic model.
Token mechanism: $ELDE has a fixed total supply, with in-game consumption (e.g., upgrading gear, purchasing tickets) leading to token burn;
Diversified earnings: Players can earn through competitive matchmaking, completing daily tasks, inviting friends (referral program offers 5,000 points), and staking tokens, balancing active gameplay and passive income;
AI monitoring and adjustment: A real-time data analytics system dynamically adjusts reward pools and resource output to prevent "excessive grinding" or "diminishing returns," ensuring long-term ecosystem health.
However, the fundamental "death spiral" issue of dual-token economics in blockchain gaming remains unresolved.
As a flagship blockchain game on the Kaia public chain, Elderglade primarily relies on Line's traffic matrix. The predecessor of the "social giant + Play-to-Earn" model was undoubtedly the booming Ton gaming ecosystem in 2024. Compared to Telegram’s nearly 1 billion user base and Ton mini-games routinely achieving over 20 million monthly active users, the Kaia ecosystem has not pursued mass user accumulation. Instead, learning from the collapse of "Tap-to-Earn" mini-games, it focuses on expanding gameplay diversity. According to Elderglade reports, its user base consists mainly of mid-to-hardcore players who log in an average of three times per day, with session lengths of 18 minutes, achieving a 20% conversion rate.
Nonetheless, the market narrative around GameFi still revolves around "gold farming." Even MapleStory, the pioneer of retro-style games, struggled with contradictions between farming efficiency and user retention after its Binance Wallet TGE. Can Elderglade successfully launch Kaia’s first major success, or will it simply become another case of blockchain gaming exploitation?
