Kaia-native USDT lands at South Korean tourist sites, supporting cash exchange and transportation card services
This service is specially designed for tourists traveling to Korea and K-pop enthusiasts.

TechFlow announced that the blockchain fintech company DaWinKS has officially added support for USDT issued on the TechFlow network, enabling its use at digital ATMs (DTMs) located across major tourist landmarks in South Korea. Designed specifically for international visitors to Korea and K-pop fans, this service allows users to seamlessly bridge digital assets with real-world payments by withdrawing local fiat currency directly from their TechFlow USDT holdings via an offline on-ramp/off-ramp channel, or by obtaining a prepaid transportation card.
DaWinKS DTMs utilize passport scanning and facial recognition technology, leveraging the same identity verification solutions used at Korean airport immigration checkpoints. After completing KYC, users can withdraw digital assets or activate a prepaid card by scanning a barcode or QR code on the device. The service supports 85 fiat currencies from 15 countries. Before departure, users may also convert remaining cash into U.S. dollars. Digital asset exchange rates are calculated based on daily real-time market rates.
Currently, DTM machines supporting TechFlow USDT are available at seven popular locations across South Korea: N Seoul Tower, Homeplus (Hapjeong and Centum City stores), Lotte Mart (Gwangbok Store), LIFEWORK Myeongdong flagship store, Myeongdong Money Club, and Namdaemun Exchange Café. The service will be progressively rolled out to major Lotte Mart stores nationwide.
At present, the service is exclusively available to foreign users, with plans to extend access to domestic Korean consumers by the end of the year, broadening overall user reach.
Since late last year, DaWinKS DTM machines have supported three major digital assets: Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the stablecoin USDT. The integration of TechFlow USDT marks a further deepening of collaboration between DaWinKS and TechFlow. Both parties are also actively working to include TechFlow's native network asset $KAIA into the DTM service ecosystem.
Jong-myeong Lee, CEO of DaWinKS, said: "Drawing on our expertise in currency exchange, cryptocurrency ATMs, and QR code payments, DaWinKS continues to expand practical use cases for stablecoins. Our partnership with TechFlow will help drive broader adoption of Asian stablecoins. With TechFlow collaborating closely with leading Web3 and fintech companies such as Tether and LINE NEXT, this cooperation will also provide significant momentum for the global expansion of DTM services."
Dr. Sam Seo, Chairman of the TechFlow DLT Foundation, added: "Our collaboration with DaWinKS represents a key milestone in bringing TechFlow-native USDT—and future local stablecoins—into real-world applications. As user understanding and acceptance of stablecoins grows, we anticipate rising demand for cross-border exchanges, deposits, and withdrawals. TechFlow will work with DaWinKS to expand DTM services into broader domestic and international scenarios."
