Notcoin & UXLINK: On-Chain Data Comparison for Mass Adoption
Notcoin is not a gaming project in the conventional sense, and UXLINK is far from being a Web3 upgraded version of a messaging product.
Author: Guoguo, SevenUp DAO
1. Project Overview
1. NOTCOIN
NOTCOIN is considered the first project in the Telegram ecosystem to achieve mainstream breakout success. Since early this year, NOTCOIN has rapidly gained traction thanks to its meme-driven nature and simple Tap-to-Earn gameplay. It attracted 5 million users within a week of launch, with peak daily active users exceeding 6 million.
Market response to NOTCOIN after token launch exceeded most expectations. The $NOT token debuted on several top-tier exchanges on May 16 and reached an all-time high of $0.021 on June 2. With a total supply of 102.7 billion tokens—fully circulating—the current FDV stands at approximately $1.99 billion, ranking among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap.

2. UXLINK
Built on Telegram as well, UXLINK is a social platform and infrastructure focused on real-life connections. Since its release in April 2023, UXLINK has become a leader in user acquisition for next-generation social products through its unique Link-to-Earn model. According to the project’s official website, UXLINK has over 7 million registered users from 190 countries and regions, with 100,000 groups reaching more than 8 million users. Recently, UXLINK completed its first NFT distribution phase, laying the foundation for upcoming large-scale $UXLINK token airdrops and future tiered community operations.

2. Mass Adoption Methodology
As a perennial buzzword in the Web3 world, mass adoption is an unavoidable challenge for nearly every application-layer startup—and a core reason why sectors such as gaming, social, and RWA attract significant attention.
Barriers to mass adoption typically fall into the following categories:
-
Lack of compliant channels for institutional capital inflows and outflows
-
High entry barriers and lack of trust among average users
-
Immature developer ecosystems
-
Infrastructure unable to support large-scale applications
-
Lack of investment vehicles appealing to the general public
Regarding the first point, this cycle has seen the approval of Bitcoin ETFs, and Ethereum ETFs are likely to follow soon. These macro-level shifts have intensified calls for truly “killer applications” in Web3.
From a more intuitive perspective, two key factors drive mass adoption:
-
Lower entry and usage barriers, along with smoother product experiences,
-
Positive externalities in user virality and ecosystem scalability
The following section compares NOTCOIN and UXLINK’s approaches to achieving mass adoption.
First, we summarize the differences between NOTCOIN and UXLINK in their mass adoption strategies.

1. Narrative Approach
1. NOTCOIN: Game + Meme
-
Game element体现在 its play-to-earn mechanics
-
Meme element体现在 its project name and blank whitepaper
-
At its core, it operates under a meme-driven strategy—an attention economy-based traffic business
2. UXLINK: Social Platform + Infrastructure
-
Builds new on-chain trusted social relationships leveraging Telegram's existing user base and social graph
-
Inside the Telegram ecosystem, it establishes an incentive layer infrastructure for on-chain trust, rather than rebuilding the wheel externally via DApps
-
Social stickiness and retention far exceed those of games or play-to-earn platforms; UXLINK leverages social interaction as an entry point, enabling stronger integration with other ecosystem partners and superior distribution capabilities
2. User Onboarding
1. NOTCOIN: Tap-to-Earn
-
Integrated into Telegram Mini Apps, allowing free, lightweight mining
-
Core gameplay is simple and direct: tap the screen to earn coins
-
Additional features include team collaboration, point leagues, energy management, and referral rewards
2. UXLINK: Link-to-Earn
-
Users are incentivized to share invitation links to join UXLink Telegram communities, earning UXUY points for each successful referral
-
Through Link-to-Earn, users quickly build real-world, on-chain social graphs with trusted contacts
-
Trusted peer networks can easily expand from one-to-one connections into group dynamics, forming the basis of network effects
3. Developer Integration
1. NOTCOIN: No external developers
-
Game code is open-source, allowing developers to audit its mechanisms
-
No external developers are actively integrated
2. UXLINK: Actively engages external developers
-
Large volumes of social relationship data accumulated at the DApp layer are made available to developers via protocol-layer APIs
-
The AWC protocol manages on-chain identity and asset relationships, supporting AI models in behavioral analysis and recommendations
4. Infrastructure
1. NOTCOIN: Telegram Mini App
2. UXLINK: Self-built infrastructure
-
RWS Protocol addresses the熟人社交 graph problem, helping developers improve recommendations and growth
-
AWC Protocol handles the relationship between on-chain identities and assets, enabling better user understanding and supporting AI-driven behavior analysis and recommendations
5. Ecosystem Partnerships
1. NOTCOIN: Focused within the Telegram ecosystem
-
Received public support from TON Labs and TON Foundation, and was integrated into the Telegram Wallet
-
Partnered with Catizen (casual game) and TonGifts (red envelope app)
2. UXLINK: Broad collaborations with DeFi, AI, GameFi, etc.
-
Collaborated with Web3 wallets like Binance and OKX for UXUY point and NFT distribution
-
Launched the "UXLINK Social Ecosystem Alliance" to further expand developer communities and third-party partnerships, leading to rapid revenue and profit growth recently
6. Incentive Mechanism
1. NOTCOIN: Fair distribution + fully circulating
-
Surrendered ownership, 0% transaction tax, enhancing decentralization and fairness
-
Fully unlocked upon listing
2. UXLINK: Tiered operations + long-term incentives
-
Implements tiered operations through four levels of community NFTs
-
Reserves 65% of the token supply for community incentives
-
Active users receive ongoing rewards from $UXLINK and partner projects
7. Token Utility
1. NOTCOIN: Meme coin with no utility (currently)
2. UXLINK: Clear token utility + deflationary design
-
Developers pay in $UXLINK for protocol, data, and DApp usage fees, with 85–90% distributed back to community users
-
Users pay 1–3% transaction fee in $UXLINK to access airdrops and investment opportunities
-
Partners pay in $UXLINK to gain user acquisition support
-
With limited supply and clear use cases, $UXLINK can establish a sustainable deflationary mechanism
3. On-Chain Data Insights
Due to inconsistencies in off-chain data sources, this section focuses on comparing on-chain data for NOTCOIN and UXLINK. NOTCOIN data resides on TON, while UXLINK's primary data is on Arbitrum/EVM.
1. Holders
Holders are a key metric for measuring the extent and potential of mass adoption. A substantial number of holders forms the foundation of consensus. Cryptocurrencies with high holder counts tend to develop strong reputations and Lindy effects within the community.
Pepe currently ranks fourth in holder count among meme coins, behind DOGE, SHIB, and MEME. Since Pepe surpassed 100k holders in May, its price has entered a solid upward trend.

According to on-chain TON data, NOTCOIN had approximately 220,000 $NOT holders before TGE. This number has steadily increased post-listing and now exceeds 1.6 million.

Since UXLINK has not yet launched its token, we estimate future $UXLINK holders based on on-chain points and NFT ownership. According to Dune data, UXLINK currently has over 4.4 million users holding points or NFTs, including more than 1.5 million NFT holders. Only users who meet certain point thresholds can mint NFTs, and all NFT holders are guaranteed airdrops. Therefore, we estimate pre-TGE $UXLINK holders at around 1.5 million—comparable to $NOT’s post-listing holder count. As time progresses, the number is expected to grow further, potentially making it the most widely distributed airdrop in history.

2. Active Users
We estimate NOTCOIN’s daily active users using active $NOT holders during and five days after TGE. The data shows a declining trend, dropping from an initial 500,000 to around 200,000.

According to DappRadar, UXLINK has over 500,000 daily active users, with 24H, 7D, and 30D figures at 574,000, 1 million, and 3.8 million respectively—consistent with official reports. Given that UXLINK has already established a robust Web3 social network and will continue airdropping $UXLINK to active users post-listing, it is reasonable to expect strong user retention.

3. Token Distribution
According to NOTCOIN’s official X account, the total supply of $NOT is 102,719,221,714 tokens. Of these, 80,219,221,714 (78%) were allocated to miners (Tap-to-Earn) and Voucher (NFT) holders, while the remaining 22,500,000,000 (22%) are reserved for future ecosystem and development funds.
Per its whitepaper, UXLINK adopts a dual-token model consisting of a utility token ($UXUY points) and a governance token ($UXLINK).
$UXUY points are generated via a Proof-of-Link (POL) mechanism, with no pre-mine. Users earn tokens by inviting others and contributing to the ecosystem. Rewards decrease over time based on duration, network connections, and total network size.
The total supply of $UXLINK is 1,000,000,000 tokens. Of these, 65% will be distributed to community contributors and developers (via POW, Link-to-Earn, and Build-to-Earn), while the remaining 35% goes to investors, team, and project development.
4. Conclusion
Whether it’s STEPN from the previous cycle or NOTCOIN and UXLINK in the current spotlight, their rapid success stems from designing for mass adoption from day one—not merely fitting into a specific category. Specifically, STEPN and NOTCOIN aren’t standard gaming projects, and UXLINK is much more than a Web3-enhanced messaging app. Low barriers to entry, engaging experiences, and well-designed incentives are their common traits—core DNA elements that embed mass adoption into their product architecture. We look forward to seeing more exceptional projects like NOTCOIN and UXLINK drastically shorten the path to widespread Web3 adoption.
