How to Play BlockGames, the Web3 Gaming Platform About to Airdrop?

Recently, the Web3 gaming platform BlockGames has gone viral online. The reason? On March 9, the project announced social mining for its BLOCK token via a post on X (formerly Twitter), allowing users to accumulate social points by tweeting, reposting, quoting, replying to, and liking content related to the $BLOCK hashtag—earning them eligibility for a BLOCK token airdrop.
Previously, many may have experienced similar social scoring projects like Tip—a social crypto initiative built on the X platform where sharing, liking, commenting, posting tweets, blogs, or any other form of spreading content about Tipcoin helps users accumulate points toward earning TIP. Leveraging KOL-driven traffic and Web3 token airdrops, such projects achieve explosive "viral marketing," using X's social network as a traffic gateway and token airdrop expectations to attract users.
The recent surge of discussions, likes, and engagement around BlockGames on X suggests this type of social-based project is rising once again.
Compared to Tip, BlockGames offers a more unique gameplay model and background. It combines a PWA mechanism similar to friend.tech with Tip’s social point system, while also functioning as a gaming integration platform. The project previously stated on X: “BlockGames achieved over 200,000 downloads, over 250,000 transactions, and integrated 200+ games within three months.”
Selected for Google Cloud Web3 Startup Program
BlockGames also boasts strong credentials—it was selected for Google Cloud's Web3 Startup Program in September 2023 and has completed a Series A funding round, though the amount and investors were not disclosed. As part of the Google Web3 Startup Program, BlockGames automatically gains access to Google Cloud Scale Tier products and services, including Google Cloud Web3 solutions.
According to LinkedIn data, BlockGames CEO Benas Baltramiejūnas previously worked at global sportswear giant Nike, focusing on regional analyst and business management roles. He later founded Halo, a rental platform that streamlined the entire leasing process and digitized tenant experiences for rental properties. The company was acquired by a major real estate firm in 2022.
BlockGames CTO Mazvydas Skuodas brings 15 years of industry experience in coding, e-commerce, travel, and cybersecurity.
BlockGames Airdrop Mechanics
Currently, the most discussed aspect of BlockGames is its gameplay mechanics. The project currently features two main systems: social points (green) and gaming points (blue).
Gaming Points Mechanism
As mentioned earlier, BlockGames follows a PWA model similar to friend.tech. By visiting the BlockGames website and adding the app to your home screen, you can log in via email or Google account.

After registration and login, click on (Complete your Profile) to fill out your personal information.

The profile consists of four sections: connecting your X account, linking an ETH wallet, activating a game, and completing a challenge.
Users can select a game of interest, click “activate,” which redirects to the mobile app store for download and installation. After playing the game (which are simple, easy-to-play mini-games), note that the activation only counts when the app interface shows the game status as “Activated.” Game activation requires some time before verification.

Each mini-game includes several challenges. Completing just one allows you to finish your profile setup.
Within the BlockGames app, users can earn more Pace points by playing games, inviting friends, participating in contests, and performing soft staking on Dice. Dice is BlockGames’ official NFT collection; at the time of writing, the floor price for BlockGames Dice stands at 0.769 ETH.
Pace points reflect a user’s level of engagement with platform games—the more games played, the higher the Pace score. Each Dice NFT grants 1,000 base points, and Dice holders receive boosted points ranging from 1x to 10x weekly multipliers compared to regular users.
Social Points Mechanism
BlockGames’ social mechanics closely resemble those of Tip. After linking your X account to the BlockGames app, you can mention $BLOCK or @GetBlockGames in your tweets (with one-click posting available in-app after binding). Interacting with others' posts will generate social points—the higher the engagement your content receives, the more points you accumulate. Social points are distributed automatically each week.
Completing your profile verification doubles your earned points. Additionally, Dice holders enjoy increased point multipliers (from 1x to 10x, compounding weekly). Social media KOLs also receive tiered bonus multipliers based on follower count:
-
10,000–25,000 followers: 2x points
-
25,000–50,000 followers: 5x points
-
50,000–100,000 followers: 8x points
-
100,000+ followers: 10x points
Conclusion
Since BlockGames has yet to release its whitepaper or detailed documentation, according to current website information, the project is currently in the “Airdrop Season” and “Lucky Rolls” phase, with community presale and TGE dates still unannounced.

“Airdrop Season” refers to the ongoing social and gaming activities.
“Lucky Rolls” offer a way to obtain BLOCK tokens prior to the public sale. There are three ways to get Lucky Rolls: reach out to existing Dice NFT holders directly, request them from Dice holders within the official BlockGames Discord server, stay active on the BlockGames app, or participate in BlockGames-related reward campaigns.
Users who already hold Lucky Rolls can register on the BlockGames presale site and submit their Lucky Rolls code to maximize their BLOCK airdrop allocation.

Benas previously stated on social media that 3% of BLOCK tokens will be allocated for airdrops at TGE. Dice holders will receive 100% immediate unlocking. Non-Dice holders will receive xBLOCK, which can either be exchanged for BLOCK or linearly unlocked over six months. The remaining 22% allocated for community rewards will unlock linearly over 36 months.
BlockGames previously indicated plans to conduct the BLOCK airdrop in Q1 of this year.
