But broaden the perspective—HIM uses multidimensional metrics to comprehensively describe a person, defining a virtual being through multiple quantitative dimensions and establishing a robust stat-based progression system. In essence, HIM applies its numerical framework to virtual humans in a broader sense, making interactive experiences more authentic and immersive.
Training virtual digital humans differs from standard LLM fine-tuning. It requires the LLM to gradually evolve the character’s way of speaking as the relationship with the player progresses—making users feel increasingly “close” to the character. To achieve this, the HIM team incorporates virtual character personality parameters into the LLM training context, training a dedicated model for each character. Meanwhile, HIM’s LLM integrates vector databases so characters retain memory—players will feel the character getting to know them better over time.
