How to seize the massive opportunity in the zkEVM Rollup sector?
Why should you pay attention to zkEVM Rollups?

With the long-awaited zkEVM scaling solutions about to launch, a new narrative may emerge — the season of zkEVM is coming.
Next, this article will help you understand how to participate in this massive opportunity and why we should pay attention to zkEVM Rollups.

If you've been involved in DeFi for some time, you've probably heard of Optimism and Arbitrum — two Ethereum Optimistic Rollups. Their goal is to help scale Ethereum while preserving its security.
zkEVMs share the same mission. However, they are considered more secure and capital-efficient than Optimistic Rollups. Vitalik believes ZK Rollups are Ethereum’s future. zkEVM is a type of ZK Rollup that allows developers to build applications in the same way as on Ethereum.
Creating a full zkEVM Rollup is significantly more difficult, which is why they haven't received much attention yet.
The good news is that several Rollups are about to launch their mainnets, and once live, zkEVM Rollups could take significant TVL share from Optimistic Rollups.

Among them, four projects stand out:
-
Polygon;
-
zkSync;
-
Scroll;
-
StarkNet;
Of these, Scroll and zkSync have not yet released tokens. Additionally, 8% of StarkNet's token supply remains unallocated, meaning there's potential for an airdrop.
Of course, investing in projects related to zkEVM could also yield substantial returns. Some tokens that may benefit from ZK include:
$MATIC
Polygon is developing six zkEVMs.
They've also formed partnerships with Web2 giants such as Meta and Reddit.
Compared to other chains, Polygon PoS has consistently maintained strong daily transaction volumes.
More importantly, $MATIC’s price has held up well recently.
$MINA
Using zero-knowledge (ZK) technology, Mina Protocol will bring privacy to Web3 applications.

The team claims Mina, with a size of around 22kb, is the lightest blockchain, allowing anyone to easily verify transactions.
Mina’s social activity recently reached an all-time high, indicating growing interest in the project.
$LRC
Loopring is another Ethereum zkRollup; recently, $LRC’s social activity also hit a new high.
Loopring aims to build protocols, infrastructure, and user-facing products for the future of finance.

Beyond these three, native tokens of zkEVM projects will be direct beneficiaries.
Projects built on Polygon, StarkNet, and zkSync may also benefit from the upcoming narrative.
Here are a few projects I find particularly interesting:
-
GainsNetwork;
-
AngleProtocol;
-
ZigZag;
-
Quickswap;
