The on-chain AI Agent sector and the broader secondary market are currently experiencing a "tale of two cities." Clearly, Smart Money is actively positioning on-chain to capture opportunities. Here’s a quick summary of my personal investment insights:
1) For framework and infrastructure projects, the GitHub codebase structure often speaks volumes—high technical barriers serve as the first filter;
2) For standalone AI projects, the ceiling and floor for real-world AI Agent applications are both extremely high; always test the product firsthand before deciding;
3) For projects launching via Launchpad, tokenomics can be a double-edged sword—rapid growth can collapse just as quickly. This does not reflect true platform competitiveness; if it does, take a cautious, short-term view;
4) Don’t overanalyze @shawmakesmagic’s personal remarks. Founders’ informal banter and deep community engagement are crucial. Staying close to #ai16z is the hidden key to riding this AI Agent Summer wave;
5) The rivalry between Base and Solana is real, but Solana is gradually taking the lead. That said, investors should focus more research efforts on Base—slow and steady craftsmanship matters. In this chaotic market cycle, waiting for consensus to emerge before entering is perfectly fine;
6) On who will prevail between ai16z and Virtual—I’ve already stated in my pinned post: crypto’s greatest strength lies in its open-source developer communities;
7) The rise of TEE+ is no accident. TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) will be a critical enabler for the long-term development of AI Agents, just as ZK is fundamental to Rollups;
8) The AI Agent space is increasingly resembling DeFi Summer—an unstoppable trend. Those dismissing Agents as useless echo the skepticism during early DeFi days;
9) The AI Agent wave has reopened opportunities for technical content creators. It’s the blogger’s Summer again—cherish those who educate daily on technology and fundamentals, rather than pushing direct trades;
10) Newcomers are right to follow the “get on board first, then learn” principle. But I recommend starting with top-tier, high-consensus assets. Jumping into small, low-cap projects may result in costly lessons that end up driving you away entirely.
