Although the recent market has cooled down slightly, we are still in a bull market.
In previous cycles, there was some selling pressure before the halving. Will this time be different?
Regardless, today's article will dive deep into AIOZ Network (disclaimer: I am an investor), which belongs to the artificial intelligence sector (an industry I believe is severely undervalued; at current prices, I'm quite confident most tokens in this space will grow tenfold by the end of this cycle).
AIOZ Network: At the Forefront of an AI Paradigm Shift

Introduction
AIOZ Network is a DePIN for Web3 AI, storage, and streaming, enabling a fast, secure, and decentralized future.
AIOZ Network aims to become the leading DePIN infrastructure platform for storage and streaming, particularly as a leader in the DePIN AI space.
Let’s take a step back—what exactly is DePIN?
DePIN stands for Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks. To understand it, think of centralized infrastructure like cloud computing via Amazon Web Services (AWS), which allows you to access processing power, storage, and databases without building or maintaining your own servers.
AIOZ Network is a distributed infrastructure network that enables anyone, anywhere, anytime to access decentralized services such as storage, AI computing, content delivery, and VOD (video-on-demand).
An interesting fact: Did you know that AIOZ Network was part of NVIDIA’s Inception Program several years ago? (Note: NVIDIA’s free program designed to help startups grow faster through cutting-edge technology, connections with venture capitalists, and access to NVIDIA’s latest technological resources.)
In Web2 storage, leading cloud object storage providers have grown impressively.
However, centralized providers often fall short in security, data sovereignty, and environmental sustainability.
Single points of failure also pose risks of outages, potentially costing millions to some of the world’s largest companies—or even resulting in complete data loss for end users.
Centralization of AI resources leads to data processing bottlenecks, further monopolizing the data storage industry and raising concerns about data privacy. Limited GPU supply and high computational costs hinder AI advancement, with industry giants spending millions while average developers or startups cannot afford these expenses. Above all, the video streaming market is projected to grow beyond $500 billion by 2032.
AR, VR, and social media streaming platforms have experienced explosive growth in innovation and popularity. Yet traditional models are increasingly strained under demands for high-quality streaming, necessitating more resilient and efficient delivery methods.
In November 2022, the first version of ChatGPT launched, triggering a paradigm shift and unleashing massive innovation.
Yet, most AI systems—including ChatGPT—are monopolized, raising the question: Is OpenAI really “open”? Here, “open” refers to decentralized AI computing.
Microsoft entered a $10 billion partnership with OpenAI, granting Microsoft privileged access to OpenAI’s technology while “locking” its dependency on Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure.
Such partnerships gradually steer the AI industry toward monopolization, where one critical factor is that the quality of AI algorithmic data can easily be influenced and compromised.
The reality remains: centralized AI computing fuels this problematic trend.
With that said, let’s now look at the solution to this problem: AIOZ Network.
What is AIOZ Network?

To explain the above diagram, let’s start from the core: the AIOZ blockchain.
AIOZ Blockchain
Built using the Cosmos SDK and EVM-compatible, AIOZ Network leverages the Tendermint consensus engine and a delegated Proof-of-Stake (dBFT) mechanism to achieve high transaction throughput, speed, scalability, and lower fees. These features establish AIOZ blockchain as a robust platform for decentralized applications.

The chain features a multi-chain architecture, ensuring fluid transfer of assets and data across different blockchain ecosystems, allowing developers to leverage the strengths each ecosystem offers.
AIOZ Network Blockchain Features
-
Instant finality: Transactions on AIOZ Network finalize instantly, eliminating long confirmation times and potential vulnerabilities associated with traditional blockchains.
-

EVM-Cosmos compatibility brings several benefits, as illustrated below:

AIOZ dCDN
AIOZ Network’s dCDN (distributed Content Delivery Network) platform revolutionizes file storage and distribution in Web3 dApps, offering an affordable solution for file storage and media streaming.
dCDN operates via nodes that contribute to the network’s security, storage capacity, bandwidth, and computing power. As AIOZ Network uses a PoS token, those running nodes are rewarded with AIOZ tokens.
By leveraging the power of AIOZ Network’s edge nodes, participants are incentivized with $AIOZ tokens to share storage space and deliver content, ensuring a secure and decentralized environment for end users in the Web3 space.
The use of peer-to-peer nodes, combined with user-friendly application interfaces, enables seamless storage, transcoding, and delivery of media content.
AIOZ dCDN Features
-
Infinite scalability: AIOZ dCDN is designed for infinite scalability, supported by a community-driven node (P2P network). As the network grows, so does its capacity, ensuring it can easily meet the growing data demands of a digital future.
-
Cost-efficiency: AIOZ dCDN’s P2P architecture significantly reduces costs associated with content delivery and storage.
-
AI-powered caching and routing optimization: AIOZ dCDN integrates AI to revolutionize caching and routing, making last-mile content delivery extremely efficient. The AI system strategically caches high-demand content across a broad network of edge nodes, enabling rapid access to popular files.
-

Its decentralized nature allows seamless rerouting when certain nodes fail, maintaining consistent service and data integrity—critical for a resilient content delivery network.
About AIOZ Network Nodes
AIOZ Network edge nodes are computers running AIOZ Network node software, either via GUI or CLI. AIOZ edge nodes provide storage capacity, network bandwidth, and computing power to AIOZ dCDN and are rewarded with AIOZ tokens.
AIOZ Network’s edge nodes are powered by robust hardware components:
-
Storage: High-capacity hard drives store large volumes of data, crucial for fast and reliable content delivery.
-
Computing: Integration of CPUs and GPUs enhances transaction processing, software operations, and capabilities for video transcoding and AI-driven tasks.
-
Network bandwidth: Leveraging locally available bandwidth worldwide, these nodes reduce latency and costs, optimizing overall content delivery network performance.
Currently, there are approximately 80,000 nodes globally (a number rapidly increasing).
Has anyone calculated the PoS rewards and "passive income" behind running a node?

Let’s pause and reflect: Why do we need these nodes?
Imagine you’re a creator uploading video clips on YouTube, posting videos on Instagram, showcasing dance moves on TikTok, etc. These are centralized platforms storing your files on their own servers.
On AIOZ Network, however, files are stored on a decentralized network (those who own nodes), with node owners rewarded for maintaining, securing, retrieving, and storing content.
As each node joins the network, the entire system becomes more scalable and performant due to increased hardware and localized storage.
It’s worth noting that AIOZ Node V3 will launch by the end of this quarter, introducing inference tasks to nodes.

AIOZ Network’s W3IPFS (InterPlanetary File System)

InterPlanetary File System, or IPFS, is an open-source file-sharing system.
IPFS transforms data storage by creating a content-addressable, peer-to-peer structure aimed at making the web faster, safer, and more open to everyone.
For example, NFTs exist on the blockchain, but the actual files are off-chain. With W3IPFS, this doesn’t have to be the case.
With PFS file storage, you can seamlessly store and retrieve data within a decentralized IPFS. Enjoy the benefits of distributed storage, immutability, and data availability, ensuring the integrity and security of your DApp content, such as your NFTs.

Typically, purely on-chain storage faces limitations. But this isn’t true for NFTs natively stored on AIOZ Network. As we now know, AIOZ is a network capable of storing, processing, and handling big data thanks to its edge nodes and dCDN.
Artists, content creators, and digital media producers can leverage AIOZ Network’s Web3 IPFS to store and showcase their digital art, music, videos, and other multimedia content using a decentralized and secure storage infrastructure.

AI Inference
As investment and focus on training AI models shifts toward monetizing them, AI inference will continue to grow.
What is AI inference, why is decentralized inference exciting, and what role does AIOZ Network play?
Inference is the process of running real-time data through a trained AI model to make predictions or solve tasks.
Inference can be seen as the “moment of truth” for an AI model—a test of its ability to apply what it learned during training. GPUs make processing this data possible. Most computational time in deep learning is spent on inference rather than training.
In fact, over 40% of NVIDIA’s data center business revenue in the past year (exceeding $47 billion) came from deploying AI systems, not training them.
This percentage is a major early sign of this ongoing shift.
This growth is positive, but where does distributed AI inference fit into this equation?
By leveraging the distributed nature of Web3, AI inference tasks can become more affordable, private, and independent from any single centralized provider.
In AIOZ Network’s case, computing power for inference tasks within the AIOZ W3AI Marketplace will be contributed by thousands of DePIN nodes; these same nodes store user data in a decentralized manner rather than on centralized servers. AIOZ Node V3 will also allow AI tasks to be executed directly on user devices.
Performing AI tasks locally on edge devices reduces the need for continuous data transmission, enhances real-time decision-making, and ultimately provides a better experience for those developing future AI innovations.
AIOZ Network W3Stream

Streaming services are online platforms allowing users to watch or listen to content such as movies, TV shows, music, or podcasts over the internet. Users stream content in real time instead of downloading it to their devices, meaning they can start viewing or listening immediately without waiting for the entire file to download.
Video hosting and streaming platforms have experienced tremendous growth and become key components of the digital media landscape.
The largest Web2 video platforms (YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo, etc.) allow users to upload, share, and discover various videos. They’ve transformed how people consume and create video content.
Likewise, short-form video platforms (e.g., Instagram and TikTok) have gained immense popularity with algorithm-driven content recommendation systems, especially among younger audiences.
The downside of these Web2 services is that they are essentially monopolistic—content creators face censorship, shadow-banning, or even complete de-platforming.

Nevertheless, it’s clear we urgently need decentralized streaming platforms that offer a Web2-like user experience.
W3Stream is another outstanding proof-of-concept product on AIOZ Network, demonstrating the chain’s performance while allowing users to retain sovereignty and access to their content.
The product enables video streaming, hosting, encoding, management, and analytics.
AIOZ Network’s Web3 streaming serves as infrastructure for distributed video streaming on the internet.
It equips businesses with essential tools, technologies, and support to deliver high-quality video content to global audiences; it also empowers anyone to build Web3 applications that offer alternatives to the unbalanced revenue distribution mechanisms of the Web2 industry, which creates unhealthy imbalances between value creators and content distribution platforms.
AIOZ Web3 streaming can be a valuable solution for video streaming platforms of all sizes. Whether it’s a global streaming service, niche content provider, or live-streaming platform, AIOZ Web3 streaming provides the necessary infrastructure to deliver high-quality video content to their audiences.
Tokenomics

After the successful launch of AIOZ Network’s mainnet in December 2021, the AIOZ Network token adopted a 9% inflation rate effective March 2023 due to block production timing.
While 9% isn't excessive, the team has now introduced an upgraded tokenomics policy.
Starting December 25, 2023, the AIOZ Network token’s inflation rate will decrease by 1% annually on December 25 for four consecutive years. This means a total reduction of 4%, bringing the inflation rate down to 5% by 2026.
Inflation rewards will be distributed as follows:
-
50% of inflation rewards go to validators/delegators
-
50% of inflation goes to the treasury
With active development across four major infrastructure pillars, treasury tokens will be partially allocated to incentivize growth, adoption, and expansion of our products:
-
AIOZ W3S
-
AIOZ W3AI
-
AIOZ W3IPFS
-
AIOZ W3Stream
Tokens will also be burned based on revenue, node rewards, and blockchain transactions.
Click here for more detailed information on tokenomics.
Currently, AIOZ is priced at $0.90, up over 3,000% in the past year. Still, it remains 65% below its all-time high, indicating significant room for growth.

Moreover, you can see that all tokens are already in circulation, so there will be no large future unlocks.
Team
The AIOZ Network core team first met in 2013.
They conducted research and experimentation on various technologies before formally establishing the team in 2017.
