He will deliver the closing keynote speech on the first day of the event via live online connection on April 12, 2023.
From April 12 to 15, the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023 will run concurrently with InnoEX—co-organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council—at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Together with other events, they will form the "Business Innovation and Technology Week (BITWEEK)." Previously, Mr. Paul Chan, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, confirmed his attendance at the opening ceremony of the event and will deliver a keynote speech.

Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, is a serial entrepreneur with an outstanding track record in startups. He founded Binance in July 2017 and within just 180 days grew it into the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. As an expert in blockchain and trading systems, CZ has built Binance into a leading blockchain ecosystem comprising the Binance Exchange, Incubator, Launchpad, Academy, Research Institute, Trust Wallet, Charity, NFT, and other business units. He studied at McGill University in Montreal after working at a hamburger restaurant. In 2005, he left his position as head of the futures trading software research and development team at Bloomberg Tradebook, moved to Shanghai, and founded Fusion Systems. Shortly afterward, he began learning about Bitcoin and joined Blockchain.com as its Technical Director.
