ZK passes the baton to AI—what ZK projects should we pay attention to?
Last weekend, funds flowed from the AI sector into the ZK sector. The "zero-knowledge" narrative is gaining momentum, with ZK tokens becoming a trending and increasingly vibrant theme.

Market rotations often happen不经意ly. Last weekend, capital flowed from the AI sector into the ZK sector—the "zero-knowledge" narrative is beginning, and ZK tokens are gradually gaining momentum.
Below are seven promising zero-knowledge projects we’d like to introduce:

$AZERO
Aleph Zero leverages ZK technology to protect user privacy on the AZERO platform. In addition, it incorporates a full suite of other breakthrough technologies, making it a powerful blockchain.
The project aims to solve deficiencies in current infrastructure across multiple industries such as healthcare, automotive, and IoT.
Market cap: $335 million.

$ROSE
Oasis Protocol has a massive ecosystem fund, native support for ZK rollups, and strategic partnerships including with META (Facebook), making it appear to be a strong project overall.
Are these partnerships beneficial for $ROSE?
Partnerships focused on technology emphasize building rather than investment. Partners like Meta have already made significant investments in Web3. Oasis Protocol maintains a diverse set of industry partnerships—while these don’t guarantee immediate success, I remain bullish on its long-term potential.
Market cap: $400 million.

$MINA
Mina Protocol is known as one of the best zk-SNARK-based Layer 1 protocols and one of the lightest blockchains.
Mina's goal is to prove the entire blockchain is valid without verifying every single block. When a new block is created, the Mina protocol builds upon previous proofs—ensuring that if there was a valid sequence of blocks before, the newly created block is also valid.
Thus, the proof scales with each block extension without needing to reprocess the entire chain. The zk-SNARK used in Mina is called Pickles, which supports recursion—meaning proofs can reference themselves, preventing the blockchain size from growing.
Market cap: $865 million.

$MATIC
Polygon is the largest ZK coin by market cap on this list, which is one good reason why I’m optimistic about it. It boasts the highest institutional adoption and number of partners. It has survived a full market cycle and continues to thrive.
Market cap: $11.5 billion.

$SYS
Syscoin uses ZK technology to process transactions on its network and offers greater interoperability with other networks.
It also features a unique hybrid consensus approach:
🔹 Syscoin has a distinctive ecosystem design that uses Bitcoin’s PoW for consensus while maintaining full compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
🔸 EVM compatibility gives $SYS interoperability and supports fully Turing-complete smart contracts.
Market cap: $150 million.

$ZKP
ZK Panther uses ZK-proofs as an interoperable protocol to bring privacy to Web3.
Panther leverages zkSNARKs and brings this concept into the DeFi and Web3 world, enabling users to generate proofs for any user data—such as age, location, transaction history, holdings, and more.
They call these proofs “ZK Reveals.”
Panther’s vision is to provide privacy features and choice across the entire DeFi ecosystem—a system where users have full control over their data and the ability to reveal as much or as little information as they wish, to whomever they want, at any time.
Market cap: $16 million.

$METIS
Metis is a high-speed, low-cost Layer 2 solution, also known as the first hybrid L2. It integrates both ZK and Optimistic Rollup technologies into its L2 architecture.
It boasts a world-class team (including Vitalik’s mother)—and a strong team is fundamental to achieving value-driven goals.
Market cap: $157 million.
