Skyweaver is one of the first truly impressive Web3 games I’ve encountered. It runs smoothly with virtually no bugs and works seamlessly across both mobile and web browsers. Everything about the game feels polished—so much so that at no point did I feel like I was playing a Web3 beta. The Web3 elements in Skyweaver are largely abstracted away.
The team behind Skyweaver, Horizon Blockchain Games, has clearly invested significant time and effort into building their own wallet infrastructure—Sequence Wallet—which greatly enhances user onboarding. Sequence allows login via email, letting players jump into the game quickly without immediately worrying about private keys or seed phrases.
One major advantage of Skyweaver is that no downloads are required—you simply run it in your browser, making entry smooth and convenient. Thanks to an intuitive UI and beginner-friendly tutorial, I was able to start playing within minutes. Even as someone who had never played a TCG before, I grasped the basics quickly after completing the tutorial. I first noticed Undead Blocks (UB) because of its strong visual appeal. It may be one of the best-looking Web3 games I’ve seen so far. The music is also top-notch.
As a console player, I’ve struggled to transition to keyboard and mouse. I kept getting taken down by zombies due to unfamiliar WASD controls. Fortunately, while writing this, I discovered that UB supports Xbox and PlayStation controllers—I had to give it a try.
The game is still in early development, with new maps and features being gradually rolled out.
Castaways (alpha)

- Genre: Sandbox survival

The long-awaited island update has just been completed, allowing players to leave their rafts and begin building on their own islands. Complex structures have already begun appearing, showcasing the real power of UGC in the game.

By eliminating the need to set up and use crypto wallets upfront, ev.io appears well-positioned to attract a broader audience. Personally, I played for at least 30 minutes before deciding to log in and explore why other players had such unique skins (purchased via NFTs).
Recently, ev.io won Best Multiplayer Game and Best Esports Game at Polkastarter Gaming’s GAM3 Awards. Whether ev.io can become a sustainable game remains uncertain. To unlock maximum earning potential, players need to own 1 character (skin), 1 gun, and 1 sword. Like other P2E games, it's unclear whether the game mechanics can sustainably support converting "e" tokens into SOL payouts.
