The first Web3inHK offline event will be grandly held on November 15 at Arcadia Restaurant & Bar in Hong Kong.
This event is organized by CrossSpace, co-organized by IKA Block, titled sponsored by Tencent Cloud, and supported by top industry institutions including Animoca Brands, OKX, Bybit, Newman Capital, PANONY, and Kucoin Ventures. Government-backed organizations InvestHK, Cyberport, and Science Park will also send representatives to attend the event. The #Web3inHK series aims to build a platform for collaboration and communication among Hong Kong's Web3 builders, contributing to positioning Hong Kong as a global hub for Web3 innovation.
Since the successful conclusion of Hong Kong Fintech Week, global Web3 builders have been closely watching how the Hong Kong government will implement its policies following the virtual asset policy declaration, sparking extensive discussions within Hong Kong’s Web3 community. This Web3inHK event will take the form of a VIP cocktail reception, inviting over 200 guests to explore the historic opportunities and practical plans for Web3 development in Hong Kong. We are honored to have representatives from key supporting organizations deliver on-site speeches sharing their insights on Web3 policies, industries, and markets.
The event will also feature an interactive Web3 Gaming experience zone. CrossSpace, a Web3 social and collaboration platform, will debut its NFT AIGC platform "100NFT," leveraging AI technology to allow guests to generate and customize their own social avatar NFTs on-site. Another Web3 sports metaverse gaming project, Xportify, will showcase a new AR-powered motion-sensing gaming experience that uses smartphone cameras to track players’ movements for gameplay interaction. With a novel token economy and NFT system, it incentivizes users to maintain active lifestyles while experiencing fresh excitement through physical activity.
Leon, Co-founder of CrossSpace, commented on the event: “Hong Kong has a robust legal framework and an open innovation ecosystem. Although impacted by various factors in recent years, we believe in the never-say-die spirit of Hong Kong. The strong support from both industry and government for this event is the best proof. As one of the core builders of Web3, CrossSpace is committed to advancing broader applications of Web3 and providing infrastructure platforms to facilitate global decentralized social interactions and collaborations, enhancing efficiency, and laying a solid foundation for Web3's global development.”
