Neptune gaming project receives strategic investment from Metis, to launch on Andromeda in March
Neptune is positioned as a play-to-earn game on Andromeda, where players can collect and arm digital creatures called Nepers, engaging in battles and summoning mechanics to participate in adventure and competitive modes, achieving both entertainment and financial rewards.
Neptune has received strategic investment from Metis and announced it will launch on Andromeda. The Metis team has also stated it will support Neptune’s development, expanding its ecosystem within the blockchain gaming sector.
Neptune is positioned as a play-to-earn game on Andromeda, where players can collect and equip digital creatures called Nepers, engaging in battles, summoning, and participating in both adventure and PvP modes—combining entertainment with earning opportunities. In the Neptune world, anyone can fairly and transparently participate in the game to generate income. Players can also take part in DAO governance and decision-making based on their contributions.

According to project details, Neptune offers several key advantages:
1. Neptune will be managed via a DAO structure. Its development philosophy aligns closely with that of MetisDAO, earning strong support from the Metis ecosystem. Currently, there are few games on Andromeda, giving Neptune significant growth potential.
2. Neptune boasts a professional technical and artistic team, delivering high-quality graphics and immersive visual experiences, along with smooth and user-friendly gameplay. The official website visuals currently released demonstrate excellent production quality.
3. Ten thousand NFTs will serve as credentials for users to participate in DAO governance, qualify for future token airdrops, and engage in development decisions and additional revenue streams.
4. In-game items such as loot boxes, NFTs, and Nepers obtained through the adventure mode can all be traded on NFT marketplaces, enhancing gameplay excitement while increasing market liquidity. The key difference between Neptune and AXIE is that its in-game token emissions are not infinite. Instead, rewards are distributed through loot box NFTs, with drop rates carefully calibrated to control overall supply.
5. Token management in Neptune will be conducted through a DAO, fully governed and distributed by the community—representing a true evolution toward decentralized gaming.
The official Neptune Twitter account has launched an NFT sale whitelist campaign and published relevant rules:

Neptune adopts a dual-token model: NEP serves as the DAO governance token with a total supply of 10 million, initially distributed via airdrop based on in-game NFT ownership.
TUNE is the in-game earned currency, with an initial supply of 1 billion. As players earn or burn TUNE during gameplay, the circulating supply gradually decreases. When the in-game TUNE supply drops below 200 million, the community will vote on whether to reissue tokens. If reissuance is approved, the remaining TUNE supply will be increased proportionally back up to 1 billion. If rejected, another community vote will determine the game's future direction once all TUNE is exhausted. All TUNE tokens spent within the game are permanently burned.
According to disclosed information, the token will launch in March. As widely known, Metis is currently experiencing strong momentum, continuously expanding and enriching its ecosystem, and demonstrating strong capabilities in the Layer2 space. With Neptune’s own strengths combined with Metis’ backing and support, its future prospects are highly promising.
