Grayscale Discloses Potential Investment Targets: Which Cryptographic Assets Are Under Consideration?
A list of assets that Grayscale is considering purchasing and its existing assets.
Author: Grayscale
Compiled by: TechFlow

As a leading digital asset management firm, introducing investors to a diversified range of investable digital assets is a key part of our mission.
Therefore, we are pleased to share this list of candidate assets that may potentially be included in future Grayscale investment products, along with an updated list of assets currently held in our existing product suite. Both lists are grouped according to the Grayscale Crypto Industry Classification Framework we have designed, which aims to set a standard for organizing categories of crypto assets.
The "Candidate Assets" list includes digital assets not currently included in any Grayscale investment product but identified by our team as potential candidates for future offerings.
The "Assets in Existing Grayscale Products" list outlines the digital assets held by Grayscale products as of January 12, 2026. These assets may be part of single-asset or multi-asset products.
As the crypto ecosystem evolves and the Grayscale team reviews or re-evaluates additional assets, we intend to update these lists as frequently as possible, ideally within 15 days after the end of each quarter. The lists below are current as of January 12, 2026, and may change during the quarter due to rebalancing of multi-asset funds or the launch of new single-asset products.

* Assets not included in the Grayscale Crypto Industry Classification as of December 31, 2025.
¹ Assets may be directly included in the Grayscale product suite without first appearing on this list, for example, if a decision is made during the quarter to include an asset in a Grayscale product.
Creating new products similar to our existing investment offerings is a complex and multifaceted process. It involves thorough review and consideration, influenced by internal controls, custody arrangements, and regulatory requirements. Please note that this list is for informational purposes only—no assurance is given that all candidate assets will become investment products. Grayscale may also explore other assets not listed here for inclusion in its product suite. Similarly, assets may be added to Grayscale products without first being listed on this candidate list.
Grayscale may seek to have shares of new products quoted on secondary markets. While shares of certain Grayscale products have been approved for trading on secondary markets (e.g., OTCQX), prospective investors in new products should not assume similar approvals will be granted, particularly where the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and/or the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) may have questions regarding the status of the underlying digital assets under federal securities laws.
This document does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security in any jurisdiction, nor should it be construed as legal in any jurisdiction prior to registration or qualification under applicable securities laws. Grayscale, its affiliates, and clients may hold positions in the digital assets or securities discussed herein.
