Chainlink has been established as the data standard for Ondo’s tokenized stocks and ETFs, and both parties will jointly promote CCIP as the preferred cross-chain solution for traditional financial institutions. Additionally, Chainlink has officially joined the Ondo Global Market Alliance to help drive the adoption and proliferation of tokenized stocks on-chain.
Building the Foundation for Tokenized Stocks
Ondo Global Markets is currently the largest on-chain trading platform for tokenized stocks and ETFs, with over 100 tokenized assets listed and a total value locked (TVL) exceeding $300 million.
By leveraging Chainlink's institutional-grade data infrastructure, Ondo’s tokenized stocks and ETFs will be priced across all supported blockchains using industry-leading, reliable data inputs. To ensure market data reliability, Chainlink provides customized price data sources for each tokenized stock. These Chainlink data feeds cover all economic and corporate action events—such as dividend distributions—enabling comprehensive valuation directly on-chain.
Enabling On-Chain Interoperability for Financial Institutions
Ondo hosts one of the largest institutional ecosystems for tokenizing real-world assets, encompassing leading global financial institutions and top DeFi protocols. Its assets are now live across 10 blockchains and integrated into more than 100 applications.
Now, Ondo and Chainlink will collaborate with top-tier institutions to leverage Ondo’s tokenization infrastructure and assets, facilitating their migration of assets and operations onto blockchain networks. The Ondo-Chainlink collaboration aims to make CCIP the go-to cross-chain solution for traditional financial institutions’ blockchain initiatives.
Additionally, Ondo has joined Chainlink’s Corporate Actions Initiative, which already includes 24 major global financial institutions such as Swift, DTCC, and Euroclear.
