CZ's Recap of BNB Super Cycle AMA: What Are the Wealth Secrets?
Covering the MEME market, Aster's growth, Yzi Labs' investment focus, new opportunities in RWA and AI, and the era significance of "Binance Life."
By: Lin Wanwan
On October 8, CZ made a rare appearance at Trust Wallet's "BNB Super Cycle" AMA, sharing the stage with core BNB projects including Aster, Four.meme, and Pancake.
During the AMA, CZ directly addressed recent hot topics in the BNB Chain ecosystem and shared his deep insights and thoughts on the future trends of the crypto industry.
TechFlow has compiled ten of his most noteworthy answers, covering the MEME market, Aster's growth, Yzi Labs' investment direction, new opportunities in RWA and AI, and the era-defining meaning of "Binance Life."
Q1: What is the current state of the crypto market?
"Everyone's in hack mode and war mode," said CZ, describing today's market as a high-pressure battlefield. Teams are barely sleeping, constantly iterating, and launching quickly. He says this isn't chaos—it's "adrenaline for the crypto industry."
Q2: How did BNB Chain grow?
"I didn't plan it. I just help people become more successful," CZ explained, comparing the process to a "garden, not a skyscraper." He doesn't impose plans—instead, he allows strong projects to grow naturally.
Launchpad, Trust Wallet, Pancake, and Esther’s listing team—originally independent projects—have now evolved into a synergistic ecosystem.
Q3: Was 'Binance Life' planned?
CZ responded: "Not at all. I never expected it to go viral myself."
He recalled seeing a post by netizen Lin Wanwan's Cat a few days ago saying "Work hard, enjoy Binance Life," and casually replied, "That's Binance Life." Within a day, it became a meme spreading across the internet.
On Mid-Autumn Festival, he edited a greeting tweet, instantly igniting the BNB community, sparking waves of reposts, remixes, and imitations.
CZ believes "you can't predict the energy of a community—it's organic." No budget, no marketing, yet it resonated deeply with everyone. In his view, "Binance Life" is a metaphor for an era—everyone building on-chain has become it.
Q4: Thoughts on Four.Meme
CZ mentioned recently discussing another issue: future exchanges, Launchpads, and DEXs must expand language support beyond just English and Chinese, making space for more languages within the ecosystem. "This might be a bit hard for me personally (laughs), but we have to support it. Blockchain is about enabling broader participation."
Q5: On Aster
The Aster team plans to become a multi-chain liquidity aggregation layer, supporting multi-asset collateralization, and will launch native integration with Trust Wallet for perpetual contract trading next week.
CZ believes DEX growth ≠ competition, but rather mutual success.
"Trading any cryptocurrency benefits BNB."
He emphasized that BNB Chain's success doesn't depend on competition. "Many think Layer1s must compete, but that's not true. When one chain grows stronger, the entire industry strengthens."
Currently, crypto adoption is still below 1%. The real goal is to grow the entire industry.
He also noted that part of Aster's current high trading volume comes from its Season 2 Airdrop, but this is a healthy user acquisition mechanism. The key is whether it can attract real users and institutions on top of this foundation.
Q6: On prediction markets like Polymarket
CZ believes "prediction markets" will become a massive sector in the future.
Some even call them "event futures"—where any event can become a tradable contract.
In CZ's view, monetary voting is more convincing than verbal opinions. Traditional or mainstream media narratives are already inaccurate.
We've seen this during the Israel-Palestine conflict and even the last U.S. election—the outcomes of prediction markets often align closer to reality than polls or media reports.
This will be a huge market. It's not big yet, but we're at the beginning.
Q7: On RWA and AI
CZ sees both RWA and AI as entirely new fields, each with enormous potential.
RWA's vision is "everything can be tokenized";
AI's potential lies in driving transaction frequencies millions of times higher than today. AI models will use cryptocurrencies to settle, collaborate, and even pay each other.
But in reality, RWA currently faces two major challenges:
1. Liquidity issues:
Not all assets have high volatility or trading demand.
If prices barely move, order books thin out, further reducing liquidity.
"No volatility, no volume."
2. Compliance issues:
Different countries define RWA differently—some classify them as securities, others don't.
Is there a need for on-chain whitelisting, KYC, or licensed issuance?
These legal issues are complex and fragmented.
Q8: Will centralization and decentralization remain opposed?
CZ added: If user growth in crypto stalls, people will naturally shift toward decentralization;
But in reality, over 90% of the world's population hasn't used crypto products yet. "For them, logging in via email with customer support from centralized exchanges is simpler."
Therefore: in the short term, CEXs remain the main entry point for Web2 users; long-term, decentralization will gradually take over more transaction scenarios.
He predicts the next four years (the next cycle) may mark a critical turning point in this transition.
"We won't decentralize overnight, but the trend is irreversible."
Q9: YziLabs has committed $1 billion in investments. What emerging technologies or directions are you looking for next?
CZ feels he's still more inclined to "go with the flow."
Currently, the BNB Chain ecosystem is very strong in areas like trading liquidity and token issuance—this has almost become part of the community's DNA.
But relatively speaking, it's weaker in AI. In fact, not just BNB, the entire crypto industry lacks standout AI + Crypto projects. CZ joked he knows this might upset some AI project teams,
Overall, we'll invest across all promising directions without limiting ourselves to any single track. This reflects CZ's intuitive read of the entire market.
Q10: U.S. regulation and the future
The host asked: "If the U.S. changes administration next year, could they come after you again?"
CZ replied: "The current U.S. government is very pro-crypto. The previous one was anti-crypto—that's common knowledge."
The new administration's policy shift is already influencing global regulatory attitudes.
"Three years from now, regardless of which party is in power, the crypto industry will be too big to reverse.
You can block the internet, but you can't destroy the internet.
Crypto is the same."
