TechFlow News, February 24: Following a market plunge triggered by one of its AI tools—and sparking broader reflections on AI’s disruptive impact—AI startup Anthropic is expanding the capabilities of its Claude chatbot into new domains. On Tuesday, the company launched new AI tools for its Claude Coworker agent software, designed to automate tasks in fields such as human resources, investment banking, and design.
Anthropic stated that these tools were co-developed with partner companies. Scott White, Head of Product for Anthropic’s Claude AI models, said the company aims to bridge the gap between how people use AI to answer work-related queries and the specific tools they employ to perform their jobs. He added that linking market performance to a single product launch “may be somewhat overinterpreted or an overreaction,” and emphasized that Anthropic’s AI models are helping enterprise customers achieve growth.
