Statements from U.S. Government Figures
Donald Trump Jr. stated at the Bitcoin 2025 conference that "the gates to Bitcoin are opening."

David Sacks, White House head of cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence known as the "Crypto Czar," said: "We believe blockchain, Bitcoin, and cryptocurrencies are the financial system of the future."

The executive director of the Trump administration said: "Bitcoin is the gold standard," and emphasized: "We will not sell any Bitcoin that the U.S. government may hold. Period."
U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis from Wyoming said Trump supports her proposed Bitcoin bill. Speaking at the Bitcoin conference in Las Vegas, Lummis stated that Trump "has a team in the White House working on digital asset issues—from stablecoins to market structure to a Bitcoin strategic reserve—and they may roll them out in that order." The senator's draft Bitcoin bill proposes establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve and purchasing one million bitcoins for it. She also noted that U.S. military leaders "strongly support" creating a strategic Bitcoin reserve to enhance economic strength.

Rosie Rios, former U.S. Treasurer, stated: "Bitcoin is here to stay. This train has already left the station."
Vivek Ramaswamy, gubernatorial candidate in Ohio, said that if elected governor of Ohio, he would "integrate financial literacy into the state's public education," including "Bitcoin education."
U.S. Congressman Byron Donalds said he will vote in favor of the "Bitcoin Strategic Reserve Act," stating, "It’s proven that Bitcoin is a store of value."
Statements from Corporate Leaders
Hunter Horsley, CEO of Bitwise, believes that if wealth managers allocate just 1% of their funds to Bitcoin, "that’s hundreds of billions of dollars."
Robert Mitchnick, Head of Digital Assets at BlackRock, reiterated that "Bitcoin has far more upside potential than gold."
Matthew Sigel, Head of Digital Assets at VanEck, said the "most viable path" to establishing a permanent U.S. strategic Bitcoin reserve is through "targeted amendments to congressional budget legislation." He pointed out that such amendments could include "offering tax credits to mining companies using methane gas," and encouraging miners to "remit a portion of their Bitcoin to the federal government." Sigel said this would allow the reserve to "naturally grow over time."
U.S. fast-food chain giant Steak 'N Shake said that by accepting Bitcoin payments, they will save 50% on transaction fees.
Wang Chun, co-founder of F2Pool, said it's well worth spending Bitcoin to go to space, as space is humanity's shared endeavor.
