Bear Market Survival: Waitlist Edition – Ten Early Projects Worth Applying For Recently
Use your lucky hands to access Alpha before others.
By: CryptoLeo
A long bear market calls for continuous exploration of early-stage projects. Today, Odaily Planet Daily has compiled a list of promising projects currently in the Waitlist application phase—applying grants you early access privileges and potentially earlier rewards or eligibility than others. Below are brief introductions to each project along with official application links.
1. Codex PBC
Codex is an L2 network built on OP Stack, specifically designed for stablecoins. It recently announced a $15.8 million seed round led by Dragonfly. The team includes professionals from Meta, TikTok, Coinbase, Palantir, and Jane Street. While Codex leans toward B2B applications, as a stablecoin-focused L2, securing early access may offer high-yield opportunities and potential airdrop advantages. More details are expected soon.

2. Chaos Labs
Chaos Labs is an AI-powered crypto analytics tool. Trained on years of public and proprietary crypto data, plus the Chaos Labs knowledge base, it aims to deliver insights and strategies comparable to those of seasoned traders (though actual performance remains to be seen). Some users report it's particularly useful for DeFi project risk analysis. Early access requires individual application. The model leverages professional-grade analysis and signal extraction techniques to help users build investment strategies, visualize data, and identify high-yield opportunities—an AI trading assistant at your service.
Chaos raised $55 million in Series A last August and previously secured a $20 million seed round in 2023, backed by Haun Ventures, Spartan Group, Galaxy Digital, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

4. ambient.xyz
ambient is an L1 network combining SVM and Proof-of-Work (PoW), delivering ultra-large-scale validation inference powered by a 600B+ parameter model and its fine-tuned variants. Despite being PoW-based, it achieves unusually high TPS. The team describes it as the "AI Bitcoin-powered OpenAI." In April, ambient closed a $7.2 million seed round co-led by a16z CSX, Delphi Digital, and Amber Group.
In a recent interview, the founder stated: "ambient harnesses machine intelligence hash power to secure a new blockchain, creating useful work for the world and a token that represents the standard unit of this productive economic activity. Bitcoin is a great technical achievement—but it’s still priced in dollars. We believe in the future, the dollar will be replaced by ambient, making ambient the most interchangeable currency across all nations."
The vision is bold. Consider applying for early access and becoming one of ambient’s first miners.

5. ORO AI
ORO AI is a platform enabling users to contribute data—secured via advanced cryptography like zkTLS—for AI development and earn rewards in return. As public datasets fall short of growing demands, ORO focuses on transforming private user data into valuable AI assets, extracting value through scarcity. The platform previously raised $6 million in seed funding, led by a16z CSX and Delphi Digital, with additional support from 0G, Near, and OrangeDAO. Data contributors receive points as rewards.
According to the team, over 350,000 users have already registered, and sign-ups are now paused. More users will be accepted in the future. Follow their X account and turn on notifications to catch early access openings and claim rewards promptly.
6. Cambrian Network
Cambrian Network is an AI-agent-powered platform offering market analysis and predictions, using both on-chain and off-chain data to make automated financial decisions. It is also part of the a16z CSX accelerator program. In April, it announced a $5.9 million seed round led by a16z CSX, with BB Fund participating. The founding team includes former members of The Graph and Semiotic Labs.

Neutrl is a high-yield synthetic USD protocol. It announced a $5 million seed round in April, led by STIX and Accomplice, with participation from Amber Group, SCB Limited, Figment Capital, Nascent, and notable crypto angel investors including Guy Young (founder of Ethena) and Joshua Lim (derivatives trader at Arbelos Markets, recently acquired by FalconX). Neutrl generates yield through OTC arbitrage, funding rates, and Delta-neutral strategies in DeFi.
Not particularly innovative, but if APY is high, it could be a solid option for yield farming.
