Each Saga came with an airdrop of 30 million BONK tokens, worth just a few dollars at the time. But as the token’s price surged, the airdrop’s value eventually exceeded $1,000—far surpassing the device cost. Saga owners not only recouped their investment but doubled their returns, sparking widespread attention and enthusiasm across the crypto community.
Following this, Saga quickly sold through approximately 20,000 units, making the “buy-a-phone-get-free-tokens” model a classic case study in Web3 hardware marketing.
SuiPlay clearly aims to replicate this “wealth creation narrative,” partnering with multiple projects for coordinated airdrops.
