However, we still observe some users facing challenges in qualifying and earning rewards. Thank you for taking the time to share these issues with us. Below, we are sharing updated information on the latest rule changes for Quest 3:
Introducing QuestPass
To ensure everyone can enjoy Quest 3, we’re excited to announce a new feature: QuestPass! Thanks to the magic of sponsored transactions, current Questers can now share a QuestPass (an NFT that will appear in your wallet) with friends via a referral link from the Quests portal—enabling even those without a SuiFren to earn points in Quest 3!
QuestPass allows anyone, regardless of prior experience with Sui or SuiFrens, the chance to join, compete, and win SUI rewards in Quest 3!
To claim a QuestPass, make sure you have a Web3 wallet and connect it to the Quests portal before clicking the link. Received your QuestPass but unsure what to do next? Watch our tutorial video.
Sharing a QuestPass also increases your score. For more details, see the Rewards section below.
As always, you can join Quest 3 at any time during the event. However, to qualify for rewards, you must meet certain basic requirements and continue to hold either a SuiFren or a QuestPass throughout the duration of the Quest.
Reward Rule Adjustments
In response to community feedback that the previous reward system for Quest 3 was too complex, we’re pleased to announce that all reward pools have now been consolidated into a single pool totaling 5 million SUI! Additionally, top-ranking players will receive higher rewards to better reflect the effort required to succeed in Quest 3.
The higher your rank, the greater your reward! The ranking-based reward structure is as follows:
Participants ranked beyond 10,000th place will each receive 25 SUI, up until the remaining reward pool is fully distributed (ranks 10,001–176,600). quest 3
QuestPass and Quest Points
SuiFren holders who invite new Questers via their referral code will receive:

50 points whenever a referred participant earns non-zero points on the Quest leaderboard;

1,000 points whenever a referred participant becomes eligible for Quest 3 SUI rewards.
QuestPass holders who invite new Questers via their referral code will receive:

40 points whenever a referred participant earns non-zero points on the Quest leaderboard;

800 points whenever a referred participant becomes eligible for Quest 3 SUI rewards.
Note: QuestPass holders can increase their referral point earnings at any time by acquiring and holding a SuiFren in their wallet. If they do so, all previously earned referral points will be retroactively adjusted upward.
Minimum Requirements for Reward Eligibility

Participants must hold at least one SuiFren or QuestPass;

Participants must interact with at least 3 out of 10 designated dApps;

Participants must achieve a minimum of 2,500 total points, with at least 800 points coming from gameplay interactions (meaning your score cannot come solely from referrals).
Additionally, the scoring logic and daily point caps from the previous rule update took effect on October 18, 2023, at 8:00 AM (UTC+8) and remain in effect. Read "Latest Quest 3 Rule Adjustments: Lowered Point Thresholds and Reduced dApp Interaction Requirements" for more details.
Daily point caps have been adjusted to 1,000 points for Suilette and DeSuiFlip, while other games have a daily cap of 1,500 points.
