Recently, OKX Ventures successfully hosted a Twitter Space event themed "The Future and Impact of the SUI Ecosystem," aiming to explore the future development potential, technological innovation, and industry applications within the SUI ecosystem. The discussion brought together key participants from multiple projects in the SUI ecosystem, including SuiNetwork, Navi Protocol, Cetus Protocol, and Haedal Protocol. Four seasoned guests from the SUI ecosystem were invited:
Cyn, Head of APAC Ecosystem at SuiNetwork
Tony, Chinese-speaking Community Ambassador at Navi Protocol
Pika, Growth Lead at Cetus Protocol
Luke, Co-founder of Haedal Protocol
Cyn, Head of APAC Ecosystem at SuiNetwork: Global Expansion and Technical Foundation of SUI
Cyn provided a detailed overview of SuiNetwork’s development strategy in the Asia-Pacific region and shared how the SUI network leverages technological innovation to unlock new possibilities for the blockchain industry. She highlighted that the SUI network significantly enhances developer productivity—especially in dApp development and smart contract deployment—thanks to its unique Move programming language. The security and flexibility of Move have made SUI one of the most favored platforms among global developers.
Cyn further emphasized the importance of SUI's global expansion strategy. Through deep engagement in the APAC market, SuiNetwork has rapidly advanced developer community building and fostered a thriving dApp ecosystem in the region. Going forward, the SUI ecosystem will accelerate its global growth, attracting more developers and projects to fuel continued ecosystem development.
Tony, Chinese-speaking Community Ambassador at Navi Protocol: The Future of Liquid Staking Derivatives (LSDeFi)
Tony focused his remarks on the latest advancements in DeFi, particularly the promising applications of LSDeFi (Liquid Staking Derivatives). He explained how Navi Protocol leverages the advantages of liquid staking derivatives on the SUI network to drive innovation in the DeFi space. By enabling users to participate in other financial activities while their assets remain staked, Navi significantly increases capital liquidity and creates additional yield opportunities.
Tony also revealed that Navi Protocol plans to deepen its collaboration with the SUI network and expand educational outreach within Chinese-speaking communities to promote decentralized finance. They intend to launch more localized resources to help users better understand and actively engage with Navi and its LSDeFi model.
Pika, Growth Lead at Cetus Protocol: Building Efficient Liquidity for the SUI Ecosystem
As Growth Lead at Cetus Protocol, Pika elaborated on how Cetus drives the development of the SUI DeFi ecosystem by providing efficient liquidity solutions. As a core component of the decentralized exchange (DEX) landscape, Cetus is committed to delivering users a low-cost, high-efficiency trading experience.
He added that Cetus’ next strategic focus is evolving into a "super intent interface"—automatically matching optimal trading paths and outcomes based on users' goals. Cetus already aggregates all AMM pools, order books, LSTs, yield products, and even future private or custom pools across the ecosystem, automatically delivering the best possible results for users. Beyond being just a trading platform, Cetus aims to become the central liquidity hub of the entire SUI network, supporting a wide range of future projects.
Luke, Co-founder of Haedal Protocol: Innovation in Composability and Security
As co-founder of Haedal Protocol, Luke offered a technical perspective on SUI’s strengths in security, composability, and future application scenarios. He introduced how Haedal maximizes on-chain value and capital efficiency through liquid staking derivatives, offering decentralized finance projects a safer and more flexible infrastructure. Luke emphasized that Haedal will continuously optimize its protocol to maintain technological leadership amid the fast-evolving blockchain landscape.
Additionally, Luke shared Haedal’s future roadmap: building a suite of derivative products around its LSD infrastructure. He believes that as a highly scalable blockchain platform, SUI provides developers with greater room for innovation, enabling smoother collaboration across diverse projects.
Outlook for the SUI Ecosystem: Innovation and Collaboration
During the interactive session of the Twitter Space, all four guests expressed strong optimism about the future of the SUI ecosystem. They agreed that as the SUI network continues expanding globally and further leverages its technical advantages, it will attract more developers and projects, especially demonstrating immense potential in DeFi, NFTs, and on-chain gaming.
Cyn pointed out that SUI’s technical foundation and innovative edge—particularly the use of the Move programming language—will be key drivers behind the rapid growth of its ecosystem. Tony and Pika stressed the necessity of ecosystem collaboration, noting that the success of the SUI ecosystem will depend on close cooperation among developers, users, and communities. Luke added that projects like Haedal are committed to providing secure infrastructure to ensure seamless integration and interoperability across applications.
OKX Ventures: Bullish on the SUI Ecosystem, Committed to Continued Investment in Ecosystem Development
OKX Ventures is an early supporter of the SUI ecosystem, having invested in representative projects such as Navi Protocol and Cetus Protocol, and has witnessed the robust growth of the Sui Network ecosystem, with on-chain interaction data consistently rising.
SUI significantly improves transaction speed and throughput through technologies like parallel transaction processing, creating an ideal foundation for complex applications. At the same time, SUI fully leverages the advantages of Move, showcasing the ecosystem’s strong potential. Move is a resource-oriented programming language that ensures resources cannot be copied or implicitly destroyed—only moved between storage locations—thereby enhancing both developer productivity and the security and flexibility of smart contracts and dApps. This makes SUI a preferred platform among global developers.
During this Twitter Space event, projects such as Navi Protocol, Cetus Protocol, and Haedal Protocol demonstrated their active roles in advancing the SUI ecosystem. Navi Protocol enhances asset liquidity through liquid staking derivatives (LSDeFi), Cetus Protocol focuses on efficient liquidity solutions and serves as the ecosystem’s liquidity backbone, while Haedal Protocol builds secure and flexible infrastructure. These projects not only enrich the functionality of the SUI ecosystem but also highlight the collaborative potential among protocols, ultimately improving user experience.
OKX Ventures remains firmly committed to supporting outstanding entrepreneurial teams within the SUI ecosystem and closely monitors SUI Network’s potential in global sectors such as DeFi, NFTs, and on-chain gaming. We are highly confident in SUI’s future and will continue increasing our investment to drive further ecosystem growth.
