BNB Chain launches 6-month Web3 Super Developer Journey
BNB Chain has launched Zero2Hero, offering end-to-end training support to developers building solutions and tools needed for Web3 mass adoption.

February 16, 2023 – BNB Chain, the world's most active smart contract blockchain in terms of daily users, has launched Zero2Hero, a six-month super developer program offering full-cycle training and support to help developers build solutions and tools necessary for mass Web3 adoption. This online initiative will provide developers at all levels with a structured journey consisting of a six-week bootcamp, four-week hackathon, and six-week incubator program, giving them the opportunity to build projects and showcase their skills on BNB Chain.
Applications for the Chinese-language bootcamp are now open via the BNB Chain website. Registration for the hackathon and incubator phases has not yet begun; interested applicants can fill out an interest form to receive early notifications when registration opens.

To maximize global reach and participation, the bootcamp component—a free 40-hour online course including lectures and assignments—will be offered in three languages: English, Chinese, and Russian. The Chinese curriculum is delivered by TalentRe Academy Group, a Hong Kong SAR government-supported institution that has impacted over 110,000 creators and enjoys backing from leading Asian Web3 education and industry players such as the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the University of Hong Kong, and Distributed Capital. The English bootcamp will be co-launched with Encode Club, a leader in Solidity training that has previously partnered with OpenSea, Solana, and Ledger to train over 50,000 developers across 100 projects. For Russian-speaking participants, BNB Chain has partnered with Astana Hub, Central Asia’s largest tech park, and the Blockchain Center, established by Kazakhstan’s National Bank for payments and financial technology development. This collaboration supports the Blockchain Center’s goal of training 40,000 individuals by 2026.
The Chinese bootcamp has also received strong support from multiple media outlets and developer communities within the Chinese Web3 ecosystem.

Upon completion of the bootcamp, graduates will receive NFT certificates and be recommended to relevant projects within the BNB Chain ecosystem for potential employment opportunities. Thousands of applicants are expected globally. Regardless of background, BNB Chain offers equal learning opportunities to people worldwide, selecting participants through a rigorous, standardized process.
BNB Greenfield—BNB Chain’s newly launched decentralized storage infrastructure—will serve as a key track during the hackathon phase, attracting and nurturing developers pioneering a new era of data ownership and utility in Web3. Additional tracks will focus on DeFi, SocialFi, infrastructure and scalability, NFTs, gaming and Metaverse, cross-chain, and innovation.
Zoe Wei, Head of Developer Relations at BNB Chain, said: "We’re excited to offer over $200,000 in hackathon prizes, with winners in individual tracks qualifying for over $10,000 in rewards and fast-tracked entry into the incubator. We’ve partnered with several influential projects in the industry—including Axelar, NodeReal, Chainlink Labs, Automata Network, Hacken, Tea, and Polkastarter—to deliver maximum value to participants. Alumni from our previous EU Incubator, including Port 3 Network, Blockless, Shorter Finance, and Dynamic Labs, will also share their expertise and contribute prize funding for select tracks."
Axelar’s Head of Developer Relations, Stephen Fluin, stated: "Axelar is thrilled to collaborate with BNB Chain on the Zero2Hero Super Developer Series to empower developers to integrate cross-chain communication into their projects."
The incubator phase of the Super Developer Series aims to provide comprehensive 360° support for developers building innovative products, with top teams eligible to win up to $50,000 in prizes.
Through technical instruction covering development, product design, marketing, and token economics, Zero2Hero will equip developers with the skills needed to succeed in Web3. Participants will also benefit from networking opportunities with venture capital firms and security auditors.
Zoe Wei added: "This exciting initiative presents a fantastic opportunity for developers to level up their skills and join us in building a brighter future for Web3."
