Several logical points regarding whether VINE will be replaced by "Imagine"
Unless X, as a commercial entity, explicitly states its intention to provide corresponding empowerment to the relaunched Vine and its associated token $VINE, there is speculative risk regarding market expectations for valuation, price appreciation, and sentiment.

Regarding whether $VINE will be replaced by "Imagine," here are a few points of logic:
1) $VINE has always been a MEME, representing the market's hope for the successful revival of the original Vine short-video platform. As long as either @elonmusk or @rus does not explicitly state they have abandoned the plan to revive Vine, VINE will continue to exist;
2) Elon's frequent promotion and mention of Grok Imagine recently does not mean Imagine will replace VINE—even if Elon says Grok Imagine is AI Vine—because Imagine is merely a functional sub-feature of the product, just like how Grok itself is an AI module within X. Similarly, Imagine is only a picture-to-video functionality within Grok. Elon’s high-profile push for Grok Imagine is solely to highlight Grok’s AI enhancement capabilities, not equivalent to renaming Vine as Imagine. At least Musk hasn’t “explicitly” stated so;
3) "Bring back Vine" is more than just a slogan; it carries complex cultural, emotional, branding, and IP-related factors. This means Vine is a culturally significant symbol, embodying a generation’s internet memories, and its sentimental value is hard to replace. In this context, when Elon talks about reviving Vine in AI form, the ultimate goal remains the revival of Vine itself. Grok Imagine is merely a core product capability demonstration along the path toward that final objective. In other words, if there were no intention to revive Vine, why even bring up Vine at all? Isn't the goal of using AI also revival?
4) The repeated emphasis on Grok Imagine being AI Vine serves only one point: Vine will return faster through AI empowerment. Don’t forget, the core of the Vine short-video platform was always 6-second videos. If Imagine can, as Elon claims, use real-time rendering to instantly convert images into 6-second videos, that would absolutely become a key selling point after Vine’s revival. Most likely, Imagine will function as a creation tool while Vine serves as the social distribution platform—Rus’s reply indicating “both” further supports this;
5) Market expectations around $VINE have always centered on whether Vine will truly be revived, whether Rus can hold a key position within X, whether the Vine logo will be integrated into X’s content interface, and whether $VINE might circulate as a tipping currency within Vine. However, note well: so far, the MEME only represents cultural and emotional affiliation. Unless X, as a commercial entity, clearly states it will grant tangible utility to the revived Vine and its associated token $VINE, market expectations regarding valuation, price growth, and sentiment carry speculative risks;
Note: MEME markets are highly volatile; please be mindful of risks when investing or trading. The above analysis is for reference only.
