Which airdrops has the SuiPlay gaming console received?

SuiPlay0X1 is a Web3 gaming handheld developed through a collaboration between Sui and Playtron (a gaming console operating system developer). It supports traditional platform games from Steam and Epic, and allows one-click switching to on-chain gaming mode on Sui. Pre-ordered units come bundled with an "Eternal" soulbound NFT, available in two tiers: "Mythic" (first 1,700 units) and "Exalted". Holders of different-tier NFTs will receive airdrops and whitelist access from multiple ecosystem projects.
The SuiPlay0X1 launched its pre-sale in early September last year and officially sold out all 10,000 units by the end of April this year. At SuiBaseCamp 2025 held in Dubai in May, the SuiPlay0X1 was showcased in person, with confirmation that shipments will begin this summer.
Ecosystem Airdrops
From the launch of pre-sales to the final sell-out, continuous announcements of ecosystem airdrops played a significant role. What exactly have SuiPlay users received so far?
It should first be noted that pre-order users receive their soulbound "Eternal" NFTs at a Sui address generated from their Playtron account, which also receives ecosystem airdrops. Playtron currently custodies these addresses, though the community expects ownership may be transferred to users upon device delivery.
The author is among the first 1,700 buyers and holds a "Myth" NFT. Their Sui address has received several tokens, including Bluefin (BLUE), a Perp DEX token on Sui; Scallop (SCA), a lending protocol token; and the meme coin HIPPO, among others, with a total value of approximately $70.
In addition to the eight verified tokens shown above, SuiPlay NFT holders have also received over 40 unverified tokens (mostly memes) not yet recognized by block explorers. Some airdrops do not cover all NFT holders but are instead distributed via random selection—for example, Sui Name Service randomly selected 500 "Myth" NFT holders to receive 1,000 NS tokens each (worth about $260 today).
Additionally, some token airdrops are delivered as claimable NFTs. For instance, the author received an NFT entitling them to claim 113 Walrus (WAL) tokens, worth over $70. Other projects like Double Up, a casino platform on Sui (token: UP), use the same distribution method.
Furthermore, some projects have already announced future airdrop commitments, with actual distributions scheduled after project launch or SuiPlay device shipment—such as Fud the Pug, one of the leading meme coins on Sui.
G Dollar Stablecoin
On May 2, 2025, Sui, Playtron, and the M0 Foundation (a stablecoin infrastructure provider) launched G Dollar at SuiBaseCamp—a programmable, game-focused stablecoin pegged to the US dollar and backed by US short-term Treasury bills. G Dollar can be used for spending, subscriptions, and reward disbursement within the handheld device and other GameOS platforms. Its programmability enables features such as fee waivers, instant withdrawals, and new revenue models.
Why are Sui and Playtron launching a stablecoin? The official rationale includes three key points:

PLAY Token?
Rumors suggest Playtron is planning to launch a PLAY token, potentially offering additional airdrops to handheld users. By comparison, this would be akin to Solana’s Saga phone launching its own separate token—an unprecedented move in the industry.
However, Playtron has not yet released any official details regarding issuance plans or tokenomics, only teasing possibilities on social media. If the PLAY token is ultimately confirmed, it could further energize the ecosystem economy and enhance user engagement.
