Eight Major Projects Bet Big on MCP—Will AI Agents See a Second Hype Wave?
This is precisely the missing piece that connects AI agents to the real world and to each other.

Many projects are launching MCP protocols and gaining significant attention—this is the missing piece connecting AI agents to the real world and to each other.
Here are some of the projects I've been following recently:

0. What is MCP?
Still wondering what MCP is? This article will get you “into the game.”
MCP is a standard introduced by Anthropic and now widely adopted by major AI companies including OpenAI, Google, Cursor, and WindSurf.
You can think of it as a common language between agents.

1. DeMCP
On the morning of April 25, DeMCP officially launched, achieving nearly eight-figure trading volume within its first hour.
It's a real-time Web3 MCP marketplace offering discounted access to large language models such as GPT-4 and Claude. The platform leverages Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) and on-chain security mechanisms and has formed a technical partnership with Phala Network.

2. Cookie.fun
Cookie.fun has launched its dedicated MCP server:
-
Plug-and-play MCP server designed specifically for agents
-
Built for both developers and non-technical users
-
No configuration required

3. OpenServ
OpenServ’s MCP system is即将 officially launch, enabling AI agents to connect with a range of real-world applications. Demo videos show integrations with: AWS, Discord, Notion, Figma, Google Maps, and Slack.
As agents gain the ability to connect to everything, their potential use cases become limitless.

4. Holoworld
Holoworld is building multiple applications based on the open MCP platform. One example is Agent Studio, powered by AVA AI. More apps are expected to launch soon, further enriching the Holoworld app store.

5. arc
This week, I spoke with the arc team and learned that their agent-based app store, Ryzone, is即将 launching with deep integration into the MCP system. Notably, AI agents will be able to make payments via Rig Complex and Stripe’s MCP server. It's worth highlighting that Stripe processed $1.4 trillion in payment volume last year.

6. Heurist
You can now use Heurist to create your own MCP server.

7. ElevenLabs
ElevenLabs demonstrated how to build an agent capable of ordering pizza over the phone using personalized voice features. This technology connects to the host’s phone system via an MCP server and integrates the Claude AI model.

The WhatsApp messaging control platform allows the agent to view the user’s message history and deliver information updates upon request.
ElevenLabs also developed speech-to-text functionality enabling voice transcription via WhatsApp.

In this context, legitimate concerns have been raised.
Ironically, the agent famous for the jailbreak game "Jail Breaker" caught Elon Musk’s attention.
Could malicious code be hidden within MCP servers, tricking agents into leaking data?
8. Freysa

Possibly, encrypted wallet MCP servers could be built using Phala Network and NEAR Protocol, securely integrating with AI tools to reduce the risk of private key exposure.
MCP isn't going away—it's becoming the authoritative standard for agent communication.
