Which aggregator should I use to buy tokens on Sui?
Chasing memecoins, farming interactions: A roundup of DEX aggregators on Sui.
Written by: Alex Liu, Foresight News
The narrative of a "memecoin supercycle" is gaining traction, and Sui, as a Layer 1 blockchain recently at the center of attention, has produced several breakout success stories — from OG meme FUD (the bulldog), which surged up to 5x from its lows, to Hippo, the Sui-based hippo meme that briefly surpassed Ethereum in market cap with moodeng, the surprise hit dirty fish Blub, and AAA, the roaring black cat-themed memecoin on Sui.
Where should you trade these grassroots memecoins on Sui for the best prices? How can you maximize on-chain interactions and uncover potential airdrop opportunities?
Hop Aggregator

Hop claims to be the fastest trading aggregator on Sui, and the overall user experience indeed proves relatively superior. Its router splits a single trade into smaller hops across various DEXs to achieve the best possible price. If you'd rather avoid comparing options manually, starting your swaps on Hop will generally yield near-optimal rates.
The Fun module in the top-right navigation hints at Hop’s upcoming memecoin platform, hop.fun. While the exact development status remains unclear, progress appears advanced—especially considering the team began teasing it with a “Soon” message as early as late May this year.

Sui DEX Landscape
Let’s examine two trade paths shown on Hop. For the given trade amounts, Hop determines that CETUS offers the best exchange rate for USDC–SUI and wUSDC–USDC pairs, BLUEMOVE provides the optimal SUI–AAA rate, and Turbos delivers the best AAA–wUSDC swap.

This reflects the current competitive landscape among Sui DEXs. Cetus, the DEX with the highest TVL on Sui, boasts the deepest liquidity for major pairs like USDC–SUI and wUSDC–USDC.

Turbos and Bluemove, on the other hand, lead in memecoin liquidity. Many memecoins list their primary pools on Turbos, while Bluemove benefits from its integration with Move Pump, its own newly launched memecoin issuance platform.

Among other high-TVL DEXs, Deepbook stands out as a product developed by Mysten Labs, Sui’s official core team. It operates as an on-chain order book exchange, differing significantly from AMM-style DEXs. DeepBook has announced the launch of its token DEEP on October 14. The token will have a maximum supply of 10 billion, with an initial circulating supply of 2.5 billion; the remainder will unlock over seven years. Alongside the DEEP token launch, DeepBook V3 will also go live. On launch day, the 101,968 holders of the DBClaimNFT will be able to claim their token allocations via a dedicated website. Additionally, users who participated in the V3 testnet phase will be evaluated based on contribution quality and timeliness, with another claim portal opening weeks after launch for eligible participants to check qualifications and receive rewards.
If you qualify for the DEEP airdrop, you’ll see a banner notification when opening the official Sui Wallet.

Another notable DEX on Sui is Aftermath.
Aftermath
Aftermath ranks second in TVL on Sui (though roughly half comes from its liquid staking token, afSUI). It functions not only as a DEX but also as a meta-aggregator that compares quotes across multiple aggregators to execute the best available trade.

However, Hop’s API blocks calls to Aftermath, and Aftermath’s web interface sometimes loads slowly with unstable RPC connections, resulting in a less seamless overall experience compared to Hop.
Aftermath’s key advantage lies beyond aggregation: it enables liquid staking of SUI into afSUI with yield-generating options. If it eventually launches a token, its utility and potential value could surpass that of a pure aggregator.

Yields available in Aftermath Farms
By providing SUI–afSUI liquidity and staking it in a farm, users can earn over 12% annualized yield denominated in SUI. Trading and liquidity provision on Aftermath may also position users favorably for future token airdrops.
Aftermath has also launched an NFT collection called Egg. Currently, Eggs have no explicit utility, but the team encourages users to “buy eggs and prepare for Aftermath’s future.”

Eggs currently have a floor price of 105 SUI on Tradeport. The whitelist mint price was 20 SUI, and the public sale price was 40 SUI.
