Backed by Telegram, a globally renowned messaging app with 900 million users, TON—a rising blockchain challenger recently climbing into the top ten cryptocurrencies—is set to co-host its first-ever "TON Hacker House" on April 4 at the Hong Kong JW Marriott Hotel alongside its premier ecosystem strategic partner, TONX. The event will invite developers to compete for a $1.5 million ecosystem prize pool.
Over 300 developers and 50 projects have already signed up. The official TON Hacker House team has also released the list of prominent industry leaders and expert judges attending the event.
Featured Speakers
Yat Siu, co-founder and driving force behind Animoca Brands, a leading Web3 gaming venture capital firm. Having invested in nearly 500 projects—including popular metaverse project The Sandbox, play-to-earn pioneer Axie Infinity, and Yuga Labs, parent company of Bored Ape—Yat continues to be an influential leader shaping the industry.
Steve Yun, President of the TON Foundation, who is dedicated to harnessing community power to support TON's ecosystem growth. He has publicly stated his goal of attracting 30% of Telegram’s user base to join TON by 2028.
Allen Ng, CEO of Everest Ventures Group (EVG), a well-known Hong Kong-based Web3 investment group. EVG has backed major projects such as Dapper Labs, Immutable, Yuga Labs, and Kraken.

Judging Panel
Dr. Awesome Doge, co-founder of TONX, brings deep academic expertise in blockchain technology. He began focusing on Bitcoin research in 2013 and joined the core TON team in early 2021. Dr. Doge has remained at the forefront of TON blockchain research and development, consistently pushing innovation and practical applications forward.
Pei, co-founder of TonFura, has been deeply involved in Ethereum smart contract and project development since 2015, accumulating extensive experience in blockchain engineering. After engaging with TON in early 2023, he quickly became an expert in the field and now focuses on providing essential tools and infrastructure for developers in the TON ecosystem.
Narek Abovyan, leader of TonTech, is committed to supporting ecosystem growth and enabling developers to build and deploy smart contracts and dApps on TON more easily.
Also joining the panel are Nenter, Head of Venture Capital and Investment Strategy at Animoca Ventures, and Howard Peng, Head of Developer Relations for Asia at the TON Foundation.
