BTC is the standout asset in the crypto industry, with analysts forecasting its adoption will grow exponentially.
Renowned analyst Willy Woo believes BTC is on the verge of a massive leap, potentially following the development trajectory of the internet between 1997 and 2005.
Woo says this transformative shift in BTC has been years in the making.
Therefore, Woo asserts: "By the end of this cycle—around 2025—one billion people will own BTC."
Woo emphasizes that cryptocurrency adoption is accelerating faster than early internet adoption.
Given BTC's accelerating global acceptance, cryptographer Adam Back believes the market is targeting a higher milestone, with $100,000 seen as a "long-overdue" achievement.
Back stated: "BTC reached $73,000 on Tuesday and no one said anything. On Wednesday it spent most of the day above $73,000."
"I think the reason BTC prices have felt subdued is because $100,000 seemed overdue—should've happened years ago. So when BTC was trading between $1,000 and $5,000, bullish excitement wasn't strong."

Interestingly, the catalyst behind these BTC price predictions is largely attributed to institutional demand.
Ki Young Ju, CEO of CryptoQuant, pointed out that if institutional inflows continue, a "seller liquidity crisis" may be imminent.
The surge in demand, coupled with the successful launch of spot BTC ETFs in the U.S., validates BTC as a viable institutional investment and introduces a model where demand could soon outstrip supply.
In fact, spot BTC ETFs have become the most successful exchange-traded funds in history, amassing nearly $30 billion.
As Ki explained, this influx could trigger a supply-driven price shock—a scenario where available BTC cannot meet rising demand.
Last week’s net inflow of over 30,000 BTC into spot ETFs further intensified the potential liquidity crisis.

Moreover, Ki's analysis reveals an accumulation trend among wallets that only receive transactions.
This rising accumulation signals increasing BTC hoarding behavior, which, if sustained, could mark the beginning of tightening seller liquidity.
As BTC's adoption curve sharply rises toward the one-billion mark, the interplay between escalating demand—especially from institutional investors—and shrinking supply could catalyze an unprecedented price shock.
