[Quarterfinals]
The quarterfinals took place on the 20th, with LG, TEAM 301, TOP5 INDONESIA, and GMA defeating their opponents to advance to the semifinals. Let’s now revisit some of the most electrifying moments from these matches!
MC vs LG
The opening match between MC and LG began with MCNiang securing a five-kill pistol-round victory with the Colubeis handgun, giving MC an early lead. However, LG quickly equalized and gained momentum, eventually winning the first map 7:2 with a pincer attack strategy. On the second map, both teams played cautiously, trading points and tying multiple times. At match point, Liusui secured victory for LG with a Thunder sniper rifle double-headshot followed by a triple kill, leveling the series 1:1. In the final map, facing MC’s aggressive push, LG countered with fluid roaming attacks, dominating play to win 7:1 and secure their semifinal berth!

TEAM 301 vs Brave
In the second match, TEAM 301 faced Brave, but the difference in skill and awareness was evident. TEAM 301 dominated the first round completely, sweeping Brave 7:0. In the second map, TEAM 301 raced to a 6:0 lead. At match point, wanwan secured a double kill with the Silber Adler (Silver Eagle pistol), earning Brave a single point. Nevertheless, TEAM 301 won the series 2:0.

DGG vs TOP5
In the third match, DGG battled TOP5. The first map was tightly contested, with leads changing hands repeatedly. TOP5 reached match point first and eliminated three DGG players at the start of the decisive round to take the map. On the second map, TOP5 extended their lead to 5:2. Under pressure, DGG attempted adjustments, but TOP5 proved superior, reaching match point at 6:3. In the final round, DGG collapsed too quickly, allowing TOP5 to capitalize and win the match.

GMA vs LEGEND 301
The final quarterfinal clash saw GMA face LEGEND 301. Against GMA’s aggressive, offense-first tactics, LEGEND 301 struggled to respond. Amuzhe delivered a stunning performance with the Colubeis handgun, securing four headshots to win the first map. On the second map, GMA maintained their momentum, racing to a 6:0 lead. ANCNA, in godlike form, used the Rioter assault rifle to land two critical headshots in one shot, sealing the victory.

[Semifinals]
After four intense hours of battle on the evening of the 26th, LG and TOP5 broke through to reach the finals. Below are the detailed match reports.
LG vs TEAM 301
Game 1: Both teams, being professional squads, avoided direct mid-lane gunfights, opting instead for flanking and rear-penetration strategies. While 301’s experience allowed them to anticipate and set traps effectively, LG excelled in endgame situations, frequently winning 1v2 or 1v1 duels. LG took the first map 7:2.
Game 2: kle started strong for 301 with the Colubeis, securing an early point. However, LG’s superior marksmanship quickly turned the tide, building a 6:1 lead. At match point, cole used the Rioter assault rifle with pinpoint pre-aiming to eliminate multiple enemies, securing the second map for LG.
Game 3: LG employed scattered positioning and multi-directional distractions, leaving 301 disoriented and overwhelmed. jjjj’s mastery of the Rioter rifle enabled multiple outnumbered retaliations and eliminations. In the final round, 301 attempted a group counterattack, but LG blocked the mid-lane with smoke, trapping them. Simultaneously, cole flanked from behind, leading to a devastating pincer attack that wiped out 301. LG advanced to the finals with a clean 3:0 sweep.

GMA vs TOP5
Game 1: GMA opened with a surprising tactic—"human stacking"—creating artificial high ground to snipe distant enemies. TOP5 was caught completely off guard. GMA further exploited hard-to-reach vantage points for surprise attacks. However, TOP5 responded effectively with expert use of utilities like smoke and grenades, eventually winning 7:4.
Game 2: GMA adopted a more conventional approach, grouping at standard positions to attack. But TOP5’s precise utility usage and elusive roaming sniping overwhelmed GMA, securing another 6:2 victory.
Game 3: ANCN opened with a sniper kill, helping GMA get on the board, making the series 2:1.
Game 4: TOP5 adjusted their strategy, assigning one player per round to defend key sites with the Slugger shotgun while others roamed. GMA, scrambling to counter and clear sites simultaneously, was constantly under pressure. TOP5 dominated the entire match, winning 7:1 to advance to the finals.

[Finals]
On the evening of the 27th at 8 PM, LG and TOP5—the two strongest teams emerging from the original 16—faced off in the ultimate showdown!
Map 1, Switchman House-1: TOP5 opened strong with precise headshots in the pistol round, sending a clear message to LG. LG responded immediately in Round 2 with a flash assault to level the score. Thereafter, 669 slowed TOP5’s advances with mid-door sniping, while xxi executed rear flanks with effective misdirection tactics, gradually building a lead.

Although evenly matched overall, LG held the edge in endgame execution, often capitalizing when TOP5 faltered at crucial moments. LG stretched the score to 6:1. At match point, TOP5 fought desperately and managed to survive until time expired, scoring a vital point and reigniting hope. Rallying with renewed energy, led by YtbSALMONK’s sharp sniping and seamless team coordination, TOP5 clawed back to 5:6—just one round away from equalizing and potentially turning the tide. However, in the final 2v2 scenario, TOP5’s weakness in endgame management resurfaced, as lkjadnd sealed the map with a one-vs-two clutch finish.

Map 2, Citadel: Despite failing to complete the comeback in the previous map, TOP5 regained rhythm and confidence. They won the pistol round and launched lightning-fast assaults leveraging superior map control, racing to a 4:0 lead. However, in Round 5, TOP5 once again stumbled in an endgame situation, allowing LG to strike back. When the score reached 6:1, LG regained composure and scored continuously. At 6:5, unraven stood tall under pressure, returning the favor with a one-vs-two clutch, tying the series 1:1.

Map 3 returned to Switchman House-1. LG demonstrated deeper map understanding, consistently dismantling TOP5’s ambush tactics. Their relentless precision headshooting left TOP5 helpless. This time, LG gave no breathing room—excelling in shooting accuracy, site clearing, and coordination, with near-perfect endgame execution. In the final round, jjjjjj closed the match with a flawless 1v3 triple-headshot, ending the map 7:0.

Map 4, Citadel: The final showdown! Both teams played far more cautiously. TOP5 adopted a defensive stance, with Roxie ambushing two enemies using a submachine gun. However, LG disrupted their setup with roaming tactics. Forced out of defense, TOP5 lost initiative and were manipulated by LG’s movements. The score ballooned to 6:1. In the final round, TOP5 pushed hard into point A with four players, only to be caught in a deadly crossfire from LG’s mid-lane and A-site defenders. All four were instantly eliminated, with jjjjjj finishing off the last opponent to seal LG’s victory.

Congratulations to LG for claiming the championship title of Matr1x Sniper Nights! Throughout their journey, LG showcased masterful shooting, profound tactical understanding, and flawless endgame execution. Their numerous multi-kills and comebacks sparked roaring cheers from the audience and flooded chat screens with excitement. Their dominance was undeniable—truly deserving champions!
