Quick Overview of 20 FEVM Prize-Winning Projects from ETHIndia Hackathon
20 teams stood out among 2,000 developers from 341 cities.

Written by: Morty
On December 4, Filecoin officially announced the results of the ETHIndia FEVM Hackathon. Twenty teams emerged victorious from 2,000 developers across 341 cities. The awards were divided into Grand Prize and Pool Prize categories, with 6 teams winning the Grand Prize and 14 receiving the Pool Prize.
Below is a quick overview of the winning projects:
Grand Prize
1. Kangaroo
Kangaroo is a data DAO that allows DAO members to deploy their own data DAOs on FEVM using an onboarding toolkit, and incentivizes storage providers to store data using native governance tokens on FEVM.
2. Storemate
Many people initially perceive IPFS as a system where "data, once saved on IPFS, becomes immutable and permanently stored." However, "permanent storage" is actually a misnomer—the availability of data depends on a series of complex backend processes. Storemate aims to provide users with a dashboard displaying all IPFS-related assets, allowing users to set bounties for hosting data on IPFS and subscribe to personalized notifications based on their data’s demand and transaction activity.
3. SnapLoad
SnapLoad integrates with MetaMask and aims to lower operational barriers, helping users securely and reliably store their files and data in a decentralized manner.
4. Polysnap
Polysnap is a snap extension built for MetaMask. It enables developers to dynamically execute any WASM Wrappers deployed on IPFS without needing to build a new snap.
5. Deduplication layer on Filecoin (also awarded a Pool Prize)
The Deduplication layer on Filecoin (hereafter “D”) aims to solve a long-standing issue in Web2: when multiple users store the same file, Web2 applications charge each user individually. With “D,” users can share costs when storing identical files. In short, “D” redefines the unequal relationship between Web2 services and users, reduces data storage costs, and resolves data clutter caused by redundant storage.
6. Squad: On-Chain Encrypted AES-RSA File Management
Squad is a productivity tool that helps teams manage and share files via IPFS and a unique encryption layer within their workflows, enabling different teams to access and control files securely.
Pool Prize
1. FVM Credential
FVM Credential is a tool that allows developers to securely store credentials via FVM and IPFS without compromising user data or user experience.
2. IPfy
IPfy is an intellectual property licensing platform that drives innovation without sacrificing commercialization.
3. Web3Gram
Web3Gram is a decentralized social networking platform.
4. PerByte
PerByte is a decentralized permanent file storage and wallet-to-wallet file sharing platform and storage marketplace.
5. AlkyneFi
AlkyneFi is a decentralized application that simplifies DeFi operations using the creator economy model (investment managers helping investors allocate funds).
6. InterPlanetary Compute System
InterPlanetary Compute System is a decentralized alternative to EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances and lambdas (serverless computing services that run code without requiring server provisioning or management).
7. ZK KYC
zk KYC is an identity verification system that allows users to prove their identity during validator audits without exposing their privacy.
8. XVote
XVote is a cross-chain voting governance solution that aggregates token holders’ voting power across different blockchains.
9. Knowallet
Knowallet is a digital identity layer that verifies personal identity using zero-knowledge proofs, artificial intelligence, cryptography, and blockchain—without revealing any additional information.
10. dragd
dragd is a no-code development tool for building websites and dApps.
11. Banana Smart Wallet
Banana Smart Wallet is a privacy-preserving smart wallet that uses Google 2FA (two-factor authentication) to verify transactions.
12. Proof Of Trust
Proof Of Trust is a solution for auditing the reserves of centralized exchanges.
13. De_FL
De_FL is an AI data solution that addresses security issues in AI training data and prevents malicious users from injecting junk data into datasets.
14. Dygnify
Dygnify is a world-first on-chain and off-chain credit scoring system for SMEs, enabling small and medium enterprises to obtain credit loans on-chain.
