The TOKEN2049 crypto week, Asia's largest Web3 event, is currently underway in Singapore. During the event, the Blockchain Gaming Hackathon 2022 hosted by Klaytn, the public blockchain under Kakao—the "WeChat of Korea"—in collaboration with ABGA (Asia Blockchain Gaming Alliance), saw fierce competition among 100 teams and ultimately awarded eight winning projects, drawing significant attention from gamers and institutions alike.

Savanna Survival
Savanna Survival is an inclusive open-world game that supports both free-to-play and play-to-earn (P2E) players. It features three game modes: Adventure Mode, Battle Mode, and Tribe Mode.
In the game, players explore the world of Savanna Survival alongside a panda named Xin-Xin, learning about nature while contributing positively to wildlife conservation. As the game progresses, more animals join the player's team. Players must carefully manage space and resources within the Savanna Verse, including on-chain accessories such as totems and decorations. When equipped on the right animals, these items can boost energy recovery, increase breeding chances, reduce food requirements, or shorten construction time.
Additionally, Savanna Survival uses four types of currency. Only the SavannaSurvival Token is on-chain and can be used to purchase on-chain accessories or exchanged for fiat money. The other three—SavannaSurvival Platinum, SavannaSurvival Diamond, and SavannaSurvival Coin—are off-chain currencies serving as the foundational in-game money. They can be purchased within the app, dropped by animals encountered during gameplay, or earned through weekly events.
Cyberpop Metaverse
Cyberpop New World (CPW) is a AAA-quality 3D MMO-ARPG game that effectively combines exploration, combat, x-to-earn mechanics, and user-generated content (UGC). Unlike cyberpunk themes, this world aims to feel adventurous, positive, and hopeful—hence its name "Cyberpop" instead of "Cyberpunk." In the game, players have a virtual identity within CPW, where all NPCs help fulfill their fantasies, enabling them to create their own worlds.
Cyberpop features a gameplay loop that allows players to set goals across different environments. At the initial stage, players can purchase character NFTs and weapon NFTs, which then enable them to earn new NFTs. Additionally, Cyberpop provides a UGC editor, allowing players to create their own NFTs—such as editing buildings and vehicles—and collaborate with others to build cities together.
CYT is the main token in the game, with a total supply of 120 million. CYT holders can participate in game governance and vote on the direction of future development.
Game Wonderlab
Game Wonderlab is a universal mobile blockchain gaming platform designed to operate hundreds of blockchain-powered mobile games and introduce growth mechanisms like esports, establishing a standardized player asset protocol based on blockchain gaming.
For example, Zeroverse, one of the platform’s upcoming blockchain games entering public beta soon, is adapted from Japan’s top-ranked free-to-play game. In the game, players can obtain non-destructible free NFTs and tokens. These NFTs are usable across all Zeroverse adventures, eliminating concerns over waste or depreciation. In the future, players will also be able to earn free USDW, which can be used for buybacks, further increasing earnings.
Moreover, Game Wonderlab aims to build a distributed network managed collectively by players, consisting of 50,000 nodes. These globally distributed nodes ensure the secure operation of the network and will receive platform tokens and limited-edition NFTs as rewards.
FindTruman
FindTruman is a murder-mystery metaverse project aiming to build a gamified co-creation content platform in Web3, similar to Steam.
The entire narrative of FindTruman unfolds on Twitter, with characters portrayed as ordinary people who post daily tweets. They are connected by a mysterious incident orchestrated by Truman. Hidden relationships and secrets lie buried within these characters’ tweets. All players must work together to find clues, piece together fragmented information, solve puzzles, and advance the storyline.
What makes FindTruman unique is that players can determine the plot’s progression through NFT-based voting. By holding FTG (FindTruman Genesis NFT), players gain supreme authority to decide others' fates—altering every character action, possibly even causing Truman to abandon his performance. If players successfully uncover Truman, they’ll receive genesis rewards; alternatively, if Truman escapes and wins, he prevails.
Multiverse Play
Multiverse Play aims to go beyond traditional gaming guilds by empowering GameFi projects and efficiently connecting all NFT holders, assets, players, and guilds.
Currently, there are numerous drawbacks in the GameFi space for NFT holders, P2E players, and guilds. For instance, NFT holders often lack sufficient time to play games and usually possess only a limited number of NFTs, making it difficult to find cooperative guilds. Meanwhile, professional P2E players and guilds frequently lack efficient matching systems and struggle to establish trust and collaboration.
Multiverse Play has developed a system based on C2C logic using its SMART 2 Earn (S2E) solution—a transparent and easily matchable supply-demand platform where smart contracts ensure trustworthiness between both parties. Users first post their needs in a specific format; the platform then sends these requests as orders to suitable P2E players and automates NFT leasing and payment settlements.
GamePhylum
GamePhylum is a game data aggregation platform that helps players query on-chain game data, understand game strategies, and discover exciting new games.
ZiberBugs
ZiberBugs is a dark and stylish game blending elements from Teamfight Tactics ("TFT") and Axie Infinity. There are three races in the game: Beetles, Arachnids, and Flyers. Beetles specialize in melee/ground combat; Arachnids prefer long-range attacks and engage both ground and air units; Flyers move in the air and thus cannot be targeted by ground attacks.
Furthermore, a bug’s race is determined by its X chromosome—its lineage after hatching. Each race inherits a natural combat tier passed down via the Y chromosome: Flyers focus on attack damage, Arachnids on abilities, and Beetles on tankiness.
Like many other P2E games, ZiberBugs will feature two cryptocurrencies: the governance token ZIBER and the in-game token PHERO. ZIBER will launch following an IDO and liquidity sale, with an official ADA/ZIBER pool created on Cardano. After the game launches, a similar ADA/PHERO pool will go live. Additionally, portions of the ZIBER and PHERO reserves will be allocated for arbitrage trading between the two pools. This mechanism transfers some value from the governance token to the in-game token, helping establish a more stable in-game economy.
The Wake
The Wake is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) featuring an NFT-based system that offers players substantial income opportunities. Characters, pets, and related items in the game exist as NFTs and can be traded on in-game markets and external platforms. Rewards are earned through various activities such as dungeons, grinding, castle and continental wars, and PVP battles.
In the future, The Wake plans to launch on multiple platforms including PC, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, and mobile devices, building a complete cross-platform system for millions of players to enjoy.
