LiveArt and Huang Yuxing announce the exclusive NFT collection launching this fall: LiveArt Meta-morphic (Huang Yuxing Meta-morphic).
Co-launched by LiveArt and Huang Yuxing, [Meta-morphic] The Stone of曜变 is a series of NFTs jointly released by LiveArt, a renowned NFT art platform, and Huang Yuxing, one of China’s leading contemporary artists. The collection unfolds across multiple chapters, with the first chapter going on sale on September 23.
"Meta-morphic" draws inspiration from the gemstones, minerals, and rivers depicted in Huang Yuxing’s paintings. Gemstones are central to Huang’s practice—he has spent considerable time engaging with gems and minerals. These motifs have evolved alongside his artistic development over many years. Far from static symbols, they grow and transform with his work, evoking life, time, wisdom, and more. Naturally, they also carry the interpretations of viewers and collectors.
For instance, rivers reflect Huang Yuxing’s early understanding of life.
In the "Treasure Series," the treasures represent an alternative interpretation of wisdom—each treasure itself meaningful, embodying Huang’s initial reflections on life. At the same time, these treasures evoke deeper emotions, symbolizing power, wealth, and the unknown in religious or political contexts. They can be interpreted in countless ways, inviting broad imagination.

"Meta-morphic" conveys a sense of magic, wonder, and discovery in this series, guiding collectors through Huang Yuxing’s creative process and into his vision of nature and creation.
"Meta-morphic" will unfold as a multi-chapter collection, beginning with a mysterious box in Chapter One. Each collector will receive a mystery box containing an interactive mineral floating in space. Upon opening the box, each collector will discover a unique treasure—symbolizing power, wealth, wisdom, or civilization—ranging from turquoise and silver to gold. As Huang Yuxing describes, each gemstone is associated with profound qualities and meanings.

About the Artist: Huang Yuxing @huangyuxing_
Huang Yuxing is one of today’s most creative and exciting artists, and among the most beloved contemporary Chinese artists by collectors in recent years. His artwork *Seven-Treasure Pine Tree* (2016–19) sold at auction for over $8 million. He was also invited to design the Louis Vuitton Capucines BB handbag (limited edition).
Huang Yuxing’s work transcends boundaries, inviting audiences to explore otherworldly forms in new ways—making his move into blockchain and digital spaces a natural progression.
