While the crypto market sentiment remains subdued, airdrops within the Cosmos ecosystem are thriving. According to statistics, in the past week alone, around 13 projects on the Cosmos network have announced airdrop-related information—such as how to claim, check eligibility, snapshot timing, and requirements—including Evmos, JunoSwap, and Shade Protocol.
According to Cosmos' official 2022 outlook report, the ecosystem is expected to evolve into a multi-chain system composed of approximately 200 blockchain networks by 2022, with each chain hosting various protocols. Taking Juno Network—a smart contract platform public chain in the Cosmos ecosystem—as an example, there are currently 14 dApps and 20 tools live on its ecosystem.
Following Cosmos ecosystem tradition, tokens issued by individual chains and their native projects are often airdropped to users who meet certain criteria. As the Cosmos ecosystem is still in early development, it currently hosts about 45 public chains, 40 of which have already launched tokens. With more public chains launching and expanding their ecosystems, Cosmos is likely headed toward an "airdrop bonanza."
Generally, the conditions for receiving Cosmos ecosystem airdrops involve staking specified tokens (e.g., ATOM, OSMO, JUNO) to validators or becoming a liquidity provider (LP) in designated pools. Typically, there are no strict requirements regarding which validator node to stake through—staking via non-centralized exchange-controlled nodes usually qualifies. However, different projects may impose varying minimum staking amounts.

Owlies
Owlies is a community-driven cross-chain NFT game deployed on Juno Network. Its airdrop details include:

Analyzing the airdrop data from these nine projects reveals that ATOM, OSMO, and JUNO are the most frequently rewarded staked tokens. Eight out of nine projects (about 89%) will airdrop to ATOM stakers, while OSMO and JUNO appear in about 67% and 56% of cases, respectively.
