Navigating Web3 tides with focused insightsOn April 9, 2021, the first large-scale global crypto art exhibition, "Virtual Niche—Have You Ever Seen Memes in the Mirror," will launch in Shanghai.
The Shanghai leg of the exhibition will span three days (April 9–11) at the Jinghua Art Space, a venue renowned for its artistic ambiance. Continuing the theme of blending physical and virtual visual experiences, the Shanghai event will showcase NFT artworks by dozens of today’s most prominent crypto artists, including Beeple, Pak, Dabeiyuzhou (Big Mercy Universe), Robert Alice, and Ellwood.
On the opening day in Shanghai, a forum titled "Crypto Niche·Ultra Creation Era | NFT·CRYPTOULTRA" will be held on-site, discussing trending topics such as NFTs and related concepts.
This event is initiated by BCA (BlockCreateArt), the world's first NFT platform dedicated to crypto art, and co-organized by Canary Network—a global experimental blockchain institution—Bitmain, a leading technology company in blockchain and AI; DFG (Digital Finance Group), a globally recognized blockchain and digital asset investment firm; and Winkrypto, a provider of integrated marketing solutions in the blockchain space.
Through this offline exhibition format, the event aims to bring the concepts of NFTs and crypto art to the broader public, offering people firsthand access to the world of encrypted creativity. As the world’s first major crypto art exhibition, the Beijing edition received extensive domestic and international media coverage, sparking passionate discussions across art, internet, and finance sectors. Since its opening, it has attracted numerous artists, collectors, and enthusiasts from around the globe.
The Shanghai edition, launching on April 9, will feature expanded content beyond what was shown in Beijing. This exhibition represents a successful crossover attempt for crypto art—not only engaging professionals within the art and blockchain industries but also allowing many outside observers to experience the allure of crypto art through immersive visual, auditory, and tactile encounters.
