What to Do When Crypto Twitter Sentiment Hits Rock Bottom?
9 Bear Market Self-Rescue Tips

Scrolling through Crypto Twitter (CT) today, you simply can’t miss the overwhelmingly bleak mood flooding your feed.
The market has entered a crypto bear market, and nearly everyone involved seems lost—confused, directionless, unsure what to do next.
Here are 9 constructive things worth doing during this bear market:
1. Seriously Reflect on the Life You Truly Want
Is your current environment intentional?
Or is it the cumulative result of long-term passive reactions?
What do you truly want to do with your life?
If you had only eight years left to live, would you still be doing what you’re doing now?
Things often move so fast that we easily forget to ask ourselves these questions.
But now is precisely the time to reflect deeply on them.
2. Complete Some Side Quests
Especially if you’re young—go out and have an adventure…
Don’t fall for brainwashing narratives about being “permanently stuck in the underclass” and spend all day glued to your computer.
You only get one life—and it’s incredibly short.
You never know when you might suddenly be gone.
Go create your own legend.
3. Build Connections on Twitter/X
I see many people anxious about CT’s current state, its algorithms, etc…
But even at its worst, you can still use this platform as an exceptional way to connect with like-minded people—or those you admire.
Just send a DM or engage directly on the timeline.
As I’ve said before, I genuinely believe Crypto Twitter attracts some of the smartest, most interesting, and most talented people on Earth…
Some of them are quieter now, posting less—but they’re still here.
The beautiful thing about Twitter/X is that you can reach out to any of them anytime.
Its true value has always been friendship. So even if CT no longer delivers the dopamine rush it once did, don’t forget to leverage its real, practical utility.
4. Hit the Gym and Build Muscle
Bear markets give you plenty of time to lift weights.
Even if you worry you don’t have time to go to the gym—that’s fine.
With just a pull-up bar and adjustable dumbbells at home, you can build serious muscle.
My favorite exercises:
- Pull-ups (various grips)
- Dumbbell overhead press
- Lateral raises (you’ll see huge gains even with very light weights)
- Neck isometrics
- Hanging leg raises (the best move for six-pack abs)
5. Get Sun Exposure—and Get a Tan
“Sunlight is harmful to you” may be the most damaging piece of modern brainwashing.
Sun exposure is critically important for health.
Many of your body’s most sensitive regulatory systems—including insulin and melatonin secretion—are triggered by sunlight hitting your eyes.
Spending all day indoors—especially under harsh overhead lighting at night—severely disrupts your physiology.
Embrace your birthright—get strong, get tan, and take pride in who you are right now.
6. Explore New Frontiers of the Online Economy
If you’re tired of Twitter/X, dive deep into TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or other corners of the online economy.
I’ve been doing exactly that lately—uploading short videos and learning about that world and its ecosystem.
If it fits, I’ll share updates (currently just editing interviews to get familiar—nothing especially exciting yet). But there’s a vast world beyond CT. Who knows—maybe the next crypto bull market’s epicenter lies elsewhere on the internet. Sounds wild—but entirely possible.
7. Keep Exploring Potential Airdrops and Accumulating Your Favorite Altcoins
I know nobody wants to do this right now.
Sentiment has been utterly shattered; the prevailing consensus is that crypto is dead—and will never return.
Yet…
We’ve seen this exact pattern repeat over the past few years—and each time, it ultimately rebounds.
That silly airdrop your mutuals are obsessing over today could be tomorrow’s Hyperliquid airdrop.
That seemingly dumb altcoin your friend is accumulating right now could be next year’s Zcash (ZEC).
8. Write
No matter how barren the Twitter timeline looks—or how few people seem to read anything.
Writing remains something we should always do.
It’s our only bridge to our ancestors—and to millennia of human history.
It’s what distinguishes us from machines—we generate unprecedented, unique ideas; we transform life’s suffering into art.
It’s also our only bridge to the future.
So write—whether tweets, articles, long-form videos, or any other format.
Write, if necessary, for children not yet born.
Write for yourself.
Write so your ancestors and descendants know that, in this absurd little chapter of human history, you were at least doing something.
And finally—write for your brothers and mutuals. If you love crypto, love CT, and want it to thrive, keep using it—even when things look bleak.
9. Become the Person You Wish to See in the World
The Baby Boomer generation is passing.
We have the power to create any future we choose.
Be the change you wish to see in the world.
If you envision the next decade as the golden age of “buff, tanned crypto brothers”—a long-overdue peak for the long-suffering Millennial and Gen Z generations—then embody it in your daily actions.
