If everyone from me down to our frontline colleagues cannot hear it—or hears it but fails to discern its direction—we are not qualified practitioners. Looking back at modern military history, great commanders are those who can calmly assess the big picture while offering precise guidance on the battlefield. True professionals must possess such acuity and responsibility.
At the same time, I never believed in taking the path of “copying.” Since restarting the business at the end of 2022, I’ve firmly believed that only by leveraging our own background and stage could we carve out a unique path and break through intense competition. Over the past three years, we’ve set clear growth strategies each quarter—rhythmic and focused, never losing direction.
Clayton Christensen pointed out in The Innovator’s Dilemma that opportunities often emerge from overlooked gaps. I strongly agree. Our explorations align perfectly with this insight. We didn’t just find our own opportunities—we repeatedly broke through the “iron walls” erected by industry giants, reshaping the world’s perception of HTX.
2. Have you ever personally listened to users’ voices? Is there a particular story that made you realize, “We’re not running a production-line service, but safeguarding a trust?”
AD: As I often say, qualified practitioners must hear the “sound of frontline gunfire.” For this reason, we conducted extensive internal and external user research. But what touched me most was seeing our internal employees’ adoption of our product—from nearly zero at the beginning to almost universal usage today.
Now, including former colleagues, HTX employees consistently use our products. It’s like restaurant owners confidently eating their own food—only then can they earn customers’ trust. The reason our product earns user trust is precisely because it first won over our own people.
