EOS officially rebrands to Vaulta, announces strategic shift toward Web3 banking and banking advisory group
This rebranding represents the culmination of years of development and market observation, as Vaulta aims to leverage Bitcoin's growing global dominance to lay the foundation for the future of digital finance.

The EOS Network, a scalable operating system enabling fast, low-cost transactions, seamless blockchain connectivity, and decentralized resource management for Web3 banking, today announced it will rebrand to Vaulta in alignment with its strategic shift toward becoming a Web3 bank. The official transition will include a token swap, scheduled for the end of May (subject to confirmation and change).
The evolution from EOS to Vaulta marks the culmination of years of planning and development aimed at fulfilling the promise of building a secure, scalable, and inclusive financial ecosystem. Over recent years, the team has focused on integrating Web3 technologies with traditional financial systems to realize the vision of Web3 banking—unlocking the immense potential of Bitcoin and other decentralized technologies.
Yves La Rose, Founder and CEO of Vaulta, said: “This transformation is more than just a rebrand—it’s a pivotal step forward in our mission to advance open and accessible finance. Vaulta represents the convergence of long-term planning, strategic development, and meticulous design, culminating in a comprehensive Web3 banking architecture. Web3 holds the power to reshape global finance, and Vaulta stands at the forefront of this revolution.”
The rebrand also introduces the formation of the Vaulta Banking Advisory Council, composed of experts from both traditional banking and Web3 sectors, to provide strategic insights into the integration of conventional finance with decentralized infrastructure and Web3 frameworks. The advisory body will help shape high-level strategies aligned with global compliance standards and identify key real-world pilot opportunities. The council brings together renowned industry thought leaders, including Lawrence Truong, CEO of Systemic Trust; Didier Lavalle; Alexander Nelson, Senior Director of Digital Financial Services at ATB Financial and CEO of Tetra; and Jonathan Rizzo, Senior Business Solutions Specialist in Digital Financial Services at ATB Financial.
Alexander Nelson, Senior Director of Digital Financial Services at ATB Financial, commented: “Vaulta’s strategic move into Web3 banking is highly significant for the broader banking industry. Their robust infrastructure has the potential to bridge the strengths of traditional banking systems with blockchain technology. This initiative not only opens pathways for traditional capital to enter DeFi through Bitcoin but also drives wider institutional adoption. I’m excited to join the Banking Advisory Council and help propel Vaulta into its next phase of growth.”
Vaulta aims to transform the financial services industry by delivering a scalable, high-performance operating system designed to power real-world financial applications. This innovation builds upon the foundation laid by the EOS brand, incorporating key components of the network technology stack such as C++ smart contract architecture, a decentralized on-chain RAM database, and an inter-blockchain communication (IBC) environment. Additionally, Vaulta integrates seamlessly with exSat, a Bitcoin digital banking solution dedicated to positioning Bitcoin as a foundational pillar within decentralized financial ecosystems. exSat’s Bitcoin banking services complement Vaulta’s banking operating system perfectly.
Vaulta will advance this new direction through strategic partnerships with leading industry players, including Ceffu, Standard Chartered, Spirit Blockchain, and Blockchain Insurance Inc. These collaborations will expand the capabilities of the Vaulta Web3 banking ecosystem around specific digital asset use cases, focusing on four core pillars: wealth management, consumer payments, portfolio management, and insurance. Advancing these four pillars will empower Vaulta to unlock new yield-generating opportunities, enter the real-world assets (RWA) investment space, and establish insurance services tailored specifically for blockchain environments.
Vaulta plans to announce additional strategic partners over the coming months to further accelerate Web3 banking and infrastructure development. The formal transition will include a token swap, scheduled for the end of May (subject to confirmation and change).
