Recently, the 2025 Hong Kong Web3 Festival announced that the TON Foundation has confirmed its role as the title sponsor and Side Event organizer of the annual Web3 flagship event—the 2025 Hong Kong Web3 Festival. On April 8, TON will host a dedicated Side Event on the Main Stage, showcasing the latest technological breakthroughs and development achievements within the TON ecosystem, alongside announcements of significant new ecological partnerships and cross-chain bridge initiatives.

Established in 2023, the TON Foundation is a non-profit organization headquartered in Switzerland, founded by community contributors committed to advancing The Open Network (TON). By supporting protocol development, platform upgrades, and ecosystem growth, the foundation plays a pivotal role in driving innovation within the TON community. As an open-source project, the TON network belongs to no single entity and remains open for global developers to collaborate.

The TON Ecosystem Day on April 8 marks this year’s largest TON-focused event in the Asia-Pacific region. Over 30 speakers from the foundation, projects, and ecosystem partners will take the stage, delivering a comprehensive gathering for the global TON enthusiast community featuring ecosystem exchanges, application demonstrations, and future roadmap insights.

This collaboration not only leverages the Web3 Festival as a platform to showcase the TON Foundation's and TON ecosystem's latest developments across Asia and globally but also injects fresh momentum into Hong Kong's Web3 industry! From April 6 to 9, at the main venue of the Hong Kong Web3 Festival, TON will present a powerful display of its full ecosystem strength through a 216-square-meter title sponsorship exhibition area, featuring 20 outstanding TON-based projects spanning mini-games, AI Agents, PayFi, advertising, social, DePIN, e-commerce, and other diverse sectors.

The Web3 Festival is a Web3 event brand jointly launched by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and HashKey Group, organized by W3ME. Confirmed speakers include Christopher Hui, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Daisy Choi, Executive Director of Investment Products at the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong; Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum; Feng Xiao, Chairman of Wanxiang Blockchain and Chairman & CEO of HashKey Group; Tommy Cheung, Legislative Council Member (Innovation and Technology) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Patrick Ma, Deputy Governor & Chief Information Officer of WeBank and Director of WeBank Technology; Shen Jian Guang, Vice President and Chief Economist of JD Group; Haze, Co-founder of GMGN; David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine; Kye Gomez, CEO of Swarms; Lily Liu, President of Solana Foundation (list in no particular order). These elite figures from various fields will join tens of thousands of global participants to witness the future landscape of Web3 technological innovation and industrial advancement.

Notably, this year’s festival spans a venue size of 14,000 square meters—1.5 times larger than previous editions—integrating industry exchange, frontier exploration, and innovative collaboration. The agenda comprehensively covers native Web3 applications and trending projects, with in-depth discussions unfolding across four main conference halls over four days.

Daily main-stage sessions will focus on core themes, while three additional conference venues simultaneously host diverse thematic forums. Speakers and topics span key Web3 areas including regulation, technical infrastructure, public chain ecosystems, AI, DePIN, RWA, PayFi, and crypto finance, extending further into intersections between Web2 and Web3, traditional finance, academia, security and privacy, interactive entertainment, and real-world industry applications. Moreover, the 2025 Hong Kong Web3 Festival adopts the concept of the four seasons, using classical Chinese poetic imagery to interpret the Eastern philosophical essence of Web3, presenting a unique narrative where technology converges with humanity.
