1. starzq (@starzqeth):
Answer 1:
Success: Accumulated more BTC;
Regret: Forgot to buy $virtual / $ai16z immediately after discovering them.
Answer 2:
Polymarket successfully predicting the U.S. election and becoming a "news" app for some people illustrates how crypto is reshaping content industries after finance. I hope to see breakout crypto applications (AI holds great potential).
Answer 3:
Achieved working out three times per week in 2024. In 2025, I hope to launch a podcast episode with tens of thousands of listeners.
Answer 4:
Sectors: BTC, Payment, AI;
Strategy: Get involved early, Buy & Hold.
Answer 5:
Just be yourself—nobody can beat you at being you. ——Naval
2. CaptainZ (@hiCaptainZ):
Answer 1:
My most successful investment was buying ACT at a market cap of $20 million and holding until its Binance listing, achieving returns of up to dozens of times.
My biggest regret was seeing AI16Z at a $300 million market cap but waiting for a pullback instead of buying, only to miss out on gains of dozens of times.
Answer 2:
The most memorable event was Trump winning the U.S. presidential election. Its impact on the industry was massive—the bull market post-November could almost entirely be attributed to a “policy-driven bull run” fueled by Trump. Typically, major bull markets have three drivers: liquidity premium, innovation premium, and policy premium. Under current macro conditions, liquidity premium is nearly absent, policy premium stems from Trump’s support for crypto, and innovation premium comes from the rise of AI agents.
Answer 3:
In 2024, my goal was to achieve modest financial freedom. While I’ve made some money, I’m still far from that target. Hoping the market gives me another opportunity in 2025 to get closer.
Answer 4:
I’m mainly focused on AI agent and meme-related projects. AI agents extend from Web2 concepts into Web3 and offer the highest dream valuations with strong liquidity. Memes are unpredictable and depend on hot events—they’re about timing. DeSci is just starting to emerge. Given these are all emerging sectors, and older ones may see broad gains, I’ll prioritize my limited time and capital toward these new frontiers.
Answer 5:
Wishing peace for the world and substantial wealth for everyone.
3. Todd (@0x_Todd):
Answer 1:
Most successful: Holding onto Bitcoin consistently—same strategy as previous years. Many small investments yielded high multiples, but each trade had low principal. Only Bitcoin allows me to maintain large, long-term positions.
Most failed: FET. I mistakenly thought AI tokens were like memes—a leveraged version of BTC—that if NVIDIA led, AI tokens wouldn’t lag. But in reality, high-FDV VC coins lack the vitality of small-cap, community-driven AI agents.
Answer 2:
Definitely the SEC officially approving spot Bitcoin ETFs. A seed planted years ago finally blossomed, marking Bitcoin’s entry into humanity’s largest financial markets.
Answer 3:
Largely achieved. Hope to write more articles on Twitter in 2025.
Answer 4:
-
Yield enhancement strategies for BTC, ETH, and SOL in coin-denominated returns;
-
Meme;
-
AI Agent.
Answer 5:
Wishing all my friends a “serpentine move” in the Year of the Snake—perfectly executing trades at the right moments.
4. Hua Jiao (@off_thetarget):
Answer 1:
Success? After losing significantly on AI memes, I found a suitable investment methodology and caught several 5–10x+ opportunities (Lester, Alch, Arc, Bkkt, Griffain, Sitcom, TrenchAI… among others). Too many to remember now. Failure? Many AI meme projects couldn’t keep up with market demand, causing profits to retrace to zero.
Answer 2:
Trump taking office and CZ’s release mark the next four years as crypto-friendly.
Answer 3:
Biggest shift in 2024: Transitioned from deep technical analyst to meme alpha hunter—aligned with market trends and needs.
Answer 4:
Focus in 2025: BTC ecosystem (RGB/Lightning Network), RWA sector, AI agents & AI agent + L1.
Answer 5:
Treat others as you would want to be treated.
5. Meta8 Mate (@Meta 8 Mate):
Answer 1:
Most successful: XRP and USUAL. XRP broke above $0.7 and rose to $2.9, exactly as expected. USUAL was even more rewarding—it traded sideways after pre-market listing and faced widespread skepticism, but I believed in its stablecoin concept. Repeatedly advised holding between $0.2–$0.4, and it eventually surged to $1.65, validating my judgment.
Biggest regret: Missing the on-chain MEME/AI rally. There were many 100x or even 1000x meme projects on-chain, but since I primarily play CEX-listed secondary market projects, I underinvested here. Definitely missed out on a generational on-chain wealth event—truly regrettable.
Answer 2:
Undoubtedly, Trump’s election victory was the most memorable event. It directly triggered the second leg of this bull market—BTC rocketed from 60K to 100K, a true “Trump trade.” Although I always believed BTC would surpass $100K, when it actually happened, it felt surreal. This isn’t just a win for crypto markets—it shows crypto is increasingly shaping global dynamics.
Answer 3:
My 2024 goal was for BTC to break $100K—achieved. For 2025, let’s aim for BTC to exceed $150K! May we witness even more historic milestones.
Answer 4:
In 2025, I’ll still focus on BTC. Throughout this bull run, BTC has been the most stable performer—no matter the volatility or pullbacks, it always bounces back perfectly. It remains the most trustworthy core asset in the entire crypto market.
Additionally, Trump’s crypto project WorldLibertyFi deserves close attention. Studying its entry points and holdings could reveal new market opportunities—Trumponomics will surely bring fresh momentum.
Answer 5:
Thank you all for your support throughout 2024. Wishing everyone a fresh start in the New Year—good health, skyrocketing portfolios, and 100x+ returns on every hold!
Finally, here’s a 20-word mantra for the bull market: Take profits when good, exit promptly when profitable, sell decisively, never fantasize, cash is king!
May you not only make fortunes during this bull market but also learn to protect your gains!
6. Ai Auntie (@ai_ 9684 xtpa):
Answer 1:
Most successful: ENA—from early research and participation to publishing multiple threads;
Biggest regret: Hyperliquid haha—I was pushed hard by friends but due to time constraints (aka laziness) didn’t dive deep, bought a few times and sold way too early.
Answer 2:
Since I track on-chain data closely, two events stood out: Pump.fun’s rapid rise and printing press effect, and Wintermute shifting gears to actively embrace the Memecoin sector.
Everyone looks down on memes, yet memes deliver the strongest results.
Answer 3:
Overall, I achieved my goals. My 2025 target is preserving gains—if the market cooperates, I’ll look for new opportunities.
Answer 4:
With The Donald taking office in January, his “presidential-endorsed combo” of RWA + DeFi will be my main focus. Combined with ETFs and a crypto-friendly administration, this opens huge imagination for the broader market.
Answer 5:
In 2025, drop biases and embrace trends—this year will definitely be a great one.
7. BoCai BoCai (@bocaibocai_):
Answer 1:
As the saying goes: investing in projects means betting on people, buying tokens means watching whales. They say there’s no “alt season” this cycle—only a “strong whale season.” My biggest success and regret both tie into Sui, one of this year’s standout strong-whale projects. Success: Started engaging with the Sui ecosystem early and quickly sensed that its backers aimed to replicate Solana’s path. I kept a close eye on Sui and successfully bottom-fed around $0.4 (down from $1.1) with a 70% position—and haven’t sold since.
Regret: Though I correctly identified Sui’s explosive potential this cycle, I made my most regrettable move—swapping most of my Sui holdings for a top-tier project within the Sui ecosystem. My logic: If the chain takes off, its top dApp might outperform the native token. But Sui rallied over 10x, while the project I swapped into severely underperformed.
Answer 2:
Longtime followers know I care deeply about Web3’s real-world applications. I believe Web3 shouldn’t just be speculation but should deliver tangible use cases. The most impactful event this year was Stripe’s $1 billion acquisition of Bridge. Why? It signals strongly that mass adoption of Web3 in the real world is imminent. Over the next few years, Web3 will disrupt traditional payments and finance, forcing legacy players to fully embrace Web3 tech. Web3 will step into the spotlight—this excites me greatly.
Answer 3:
No specific goals for 2024 haha. For 2025, I’ve set three: 1. Catch a 10x coin. 2. Publish several viral articles to add value for fans. 3. Advance professionally.
Answer 4:
In 2025, I’ll focus on payment, RWA, BTCFi sectors, and the Sui ecosystem. My selection strategy beyond narrative and background includes tracking tokens that fall less during downturns and rebound powerfully, plus institutional holdings—e.g., Grayscale increasing Sui and ZEN was a positive signal. Following institutions often improves win rates. With Trump in office, his pro-Web3 stance will accelerate industry development and regulatory clarity. Under this backdrop, RWA stands to gain massively, especially as traditional institutions enter. My strategy: Focus on Wall Street-backed and leading RWA projects.
Answer 5:
Wishing all my fans catch 10x or 100x coins, achieve financial freedom, and stay healthy in the new year! After buying a seaside villa in Shanghai, don’t forget to treat me to chicken rice!
8. NingNing (@0xNing0x):
Answer 1:
My most successful investment this year was in myself—investing time. After becoming an independent researcher, I gained ample time to study investing, trading, and industry knowledge, completely reconstructing my personal knowledge map and naturally unlocking my second growth curve.
My failed investment was Aevo. I correctly bet on the PerpDEX+AppChain paradigm but picked the wrong project. This reminded me to balance narrative logic with business data analysis. That’s why at year-end, when betting on consumer chains, I decisively chose Pudgy Penguin and its Abstract chain.
Answer 2:
Ethereum’s Dencun upgrade was my most memorable event. It was the year’s most vivid case of blockspace economics. Ethereum sacrificed L1’s ability to capture L2 value to drastically lower DA prices, ending the DA War and modular blockchain narrative.
Answer 3:
Goals for learning, traffic, and investment returns in 2024 were all achieved. For 2025, I’ll keep it simple: Aim to pass the TOEFL exam academically, and switch to passive investing—embracing beta.
Answer 4:
My overall 2025 strategy is a barbell approach combining beta and alpha. Key focus areas are at the application layer: consumer chains, chain abstraction, AI Agents, PayFi, etc. 2025 will mark the dawn of the “fat app era.”
Answer 5:
Live Long And Prosper—stay in the game forever.
9. xiyu (@ohxiyu):
Answer 1:
Success: $dog—from Runestone to Dog airdrop, then adding more—my biggest gain;
No failures—more accurately, didn’t invest elsewhere. Short-term trading positions don’t count—just random messing around.
Answer 2:
Runestone airdrop—rewarding early Ordinals users. First time such a large-scale airdrop: three Bitcoin NFTs earned up to ~$10,000.
Answer 3:
2024 goal: Reach 40,000 followers—nowhere near achieved.
2025: Whatever.
Answer 4:
Bitcoin ecosystem—deep involvement in Bitcoin NFTs, Runes, op_cat. Study every new development carefully.
Answer 5:
You can lose money even in a bull market—don’t be greedy. Hit your target, protect your principal, and let profits run.
10. Lao Bai (@Wuhuoqiu):
Answer 1:
Misvaluing Hyperliquid caused me to sell its airdrop too early.
Answer 2:
The birth of Goat—directly catalyzed the emergence of the new AI Agent sector.
Answer 3:
Didn’t set any goals in 2024. 2025 goal: Multiply assets several times and successfully exit at the top.
Answer 4:
Aligned with my earlier Twi thread on this cycle’s themes (replacing PayFi—focused on primary market—with compliant DeFi), focusing on three sectors:
-
Innovation + Compliant DeFi: AAVE, CRV, Morpho, HYPE, ENA, Usual
-
AI Agent + Framework: Goat, Ai16Z, Zerebro, ARC, Virtual, GAME
-
Meme: Doge, Pepe, ACT, Fartcoin, Pnut, Cheems
Stick to these three sectors and only play relatively top-tier projects.
Answer 5:
Don’t be too greedy, avoid leverage, skip contracts—survival first. Wealth matches your knowledge and mindset—not from one lucky trade or cycle.
11. Xianzhi (@Crypto_He):
Answer 1:
Success: Held many mainstream positions and participated in this uptrend;
Failed investment: Analyzed hard in secondary market, bought SCR, which crashed to rock bottom. The team did nothing useful—SCR team, come out and take your beating. The more I think about it, the angrier I get.
Answer 2:
Trump’s election—it overall boosted crypto confidence and liquidity.
Answer 3:
Achieved. I’m quite satisfied—primary and 1.5-level returns were much better than last year.
2025 goal: Stop being a bagholder. Make serious money in secondary market to prove my critics wrong—they keep treating me as a contrary indicator!
Answer 4:
Early-stage projects: Stick to old classics—high overseas热度, institutional funding + big narrative, execute fine interaction logic. I build everything myself—nothing huge-scale.
Hot projects: Don’t overthink—calculate acceptable loss and jump in. Things like new launches, time-limited participation, freemints, signatures, exclusive whitelists—these easily make money!
Execution matters. Friends often get clever then lazy. Honestly, how much can you lose? Treasure every opportunity!
Answer 5:
Crypto offers endless opportunities—hundreds or at least dozens yearly. That’s the industry’s charm. Brothers, work hard—next year I’ll find you a wife.
12. Phyrex (@Phyrex_Ni):
Answer 1:
Followed my investment strategy this year. Success came from correctly judging the overall trend. Slight regret: My strategy was too conservative, though that conservatism helped me survive the previous bear market.
Answer 2:
BTC spot ETF approval was undoubtedly the most memorable event of 2024—it fundamentally changed the crypto market landscape.
Answer 3:
From an investment standpoint, not only achieved goals but delivered solid alpha. Unfortunately, because the market improved, I slacked off on writing in 2024. In 2025, besides focusing on exit timing, I’ll dedicate more energy to writing.
Answer 4:
Three main sectors I’m watching in 2025, in order: BTCFi, DePin, RWA. RWA is last because a real prototype forming in 2025 would already be impressive.
Answer 5:
To all my friends, I sincerely hope you gain something meaningful in 2024—not just materially or financially, but emotionally too. Let’s continue forward together in 2025. Wishing I’ll have your company every day next year. Thank you.
13. Matangerine (@bitcoinzhang1):
Answer 1:
Success: Picked the AI sector, but missed the first wave of AI+meme—jumped on late.
Answer 2:
Trump’s assassination attempt—I felt at that moment it pre-announced his election victory, paving the way past 100K. That’s what I thought then, and that’s exactly how it played out.
Answer 3:
2024 goal barely achieved. 2025 goal: Exit safely.
Answer 4:
Deepen focus on AI Agent sector—still infinite possibilities here.
Answer 5:
Pay attention to new asset issuance methods. Crypto’s greatest imagination lies in reconstructing the real world—find new angles for asset creation. “New” means explosive potential.
14. bitwu.eth (@BTW0205):
Answer 1:
Successful investments: Besides Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Doge, my two most profitable were PePe and Ethena—one meme coin, one VC coin, an oddly perfect combo;
Missed opportunities: Failed to catch any new meme hotspots—reacted half a beat too slow. Can improve here, or if I lack edge, leverage community and friends to strengthen weaknesses. Use tiny capital to earn returns—support trying as long as not addicted.
Answer 2:
Most memorable event: Trump’s election—never cared so much about a U.S. election before.
Why? As a crypto-friendly president, Trump’s promises at the 2024 Bitcoin Conference were thrilling. His logic: Swap Bitcoin’s “special value” for the “bubble value” of national debt, turning Bitcoin into the largest financial asset, creating vast “virtual wealth” for America to export globally. This will make Bitcoin a core resource fought over worldwide for the next decade.
Best quote from The Donald: It’s not that Bitcoin needs America—it’s that America needs Bitcoin!
Answer 3:
Goal in 2024: Keep hands still, don’t recklessly trade—considered achieved!
2025 goal: Double Bitcoin-denominated wealth.
Answer 4:
I believe 2025 enters the bull market’s second phase. Bitcoin will surpass $200K. Even ETH, heavily FUD’d this year, will rise—ETH/BTC ratio will climb steadily.
My focus:
-
Ethereum and its ecosystem
-
DEX (decentralized exchanges)
-
MEME and NFT
Strategy: Conservative approach—keep things simple. I use a barbell strategy: 80% in Bitcoin and Ethereum, 20% split—80% of that in sector leaders, 20% gambled on early projects or memes for outsized returns, then convert gains back to BTC/ETH. Only decision left: When to sell BTC and ETH.
Answer 5:
The 2025 digital currency market is expected to be vibrant and innovative, yet highly volatile with potential regulatory challenges. We stand at the forefront of WEB3—already pioneers of our time. So I urge everyone to adopt a more open mindset:
1. Stay curious: The world brims with unknown possibilities. Curiosity about new things and technologies helps you seize opportunities amid change.
2. Keep learning and growing: Whether in crypto or life, continuous learning and growth are essential. The New Year is a great chance to learn that skill or knowledge you’ve always wanted.
3. Build investment wisdom: Invest cautiously and rationally. Market fluctuations are normal—focus on spotting opportunities amid risk while protecting your capital.
4. Maintain health and balance: Don’t let crypto and price swings consume your life. Prioritize physical health and mental peace. Health is the foundation of all achievements.
5. Stay optimistic and patient: Markets may not go as planned, but optimism and patience help you trust long-term value. Success often takes time.
6. Secure your digital assets: This must be emphasized—security is paramount in the digital world. Never cut corners!
Lastly, I wish everyone finds their rhythm in the coming year—achieving goals in life and investments alike.
15. arestoshi (@AresWey):
Answer 1:
Success: Invested in NodeMonkes, Bitcoin’s first original 10K NFT project;
Failure: Followed the crowd into non-blue-chip projects during market hype and got stuck.
Answer 2:
1. NodeMonkes’ launch early this year—it was Bitcoin’s equivalent of CryptoPunks on Ethereum;
2. April’s launch of the Runes protocol—a UTXO-based token issuance protocol on Bitcoin Layer 1, extremely important.
Answer 3:
In 2025, continue building and promoting the Bitcoin ecosystem. I believe this new, disruptive narrative will shine brightly.
Answer 4:
Focus on Bitcoin ecosystem’s Runes, NFTs, and closely monitor upgrades to Bitcoin’s op_cat smart contract. Strategy: Accumulate on dips, buy top-quality blue-chip assets in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Answer 5:
In a bull market, there are many temptations—we can’t catch every opportunity. Avoid fickleness and herd mentality. Resist chasing tops and selling bottoms. Cultivate independent judgment and the discipline to take only what you need from the vast sea. This way, you’ll surely reap a bountiful harvest in 2025.
16. Fengmi ∎ KuiGas (@KuiGas):
Answer 1:
On airdrops: Satisfied with deep engagement in WormHole, plus positioning in Stark, Zksync, and EigenLayer. Though later returns were lower than previous L2 projects, strategic fund allocation and participation still delivered solid gains. Also joined MoveMent’s testnet early and invested—overall returns were very attractive.
Failures: Participated in IO project’s hardware mining. Regret: Spent significant time and resources choosing between Sui and Aptos—returns below expectations, though still confident.
Answer 2:
One of the most memorable events was Ethereum ETFs officially launching in the U.S.—marking crypto assets gaining recognition from traditional finance, potentially a turning point for mainstream institutions entering crypto. Symbolizes progress toward compliance and maturity.
Answer 3:
Achieved goals in project participation and investing. Failed personally—sleep schedule, fitness, reading time all insufficient.
2025 goal: Liberate myself—do less, focus on key projects and new sector opportunities.
Answer 4:
Large-funded Layer 1 projects, parallel EVM, modular, Move stack, AI agents, derivatives, and super apps;
Strategy: Steady progress, immerse yourself, user-centric, big-picture view. Focus on core operational mechanics and growth potential of each ecosystem—prioritize odds and payouts.
Answer 5:
Hope everyone keeps learning, stays curious—don’t blindly chase hype, but also never lose courage to explore new things. Investing is a marathon requiring patience and discipline. Web3 interaction still offers early-mover advantages. In the new year, may you find your rhythm in the market and grow healthily and steadily!
17. Sober聊期权, CFA (@Amy6Tina):
Answer 1:
Success:
-
Held BTC call options from ETF approval until Trump’s election—despite several drawdowns, BTC calls contributed ~80% of annual profit;
-
Executed 2 rounds of Kas and Doge call option strategies, each yielding ~1200–1500%.
Failure:
-
Hesitated switching from ETH to Tesla and BTC, only rotated at ~$3000—should’ve acted faster.
Answer 2:
False news about BTC ETF approval—shows nothing is impossible. Never trade based on rumors—logic and risk-reward matter more. For options traders, implied volatility is key.
Answer 3:
Didn’t set investment return goals in 2024 (depended on market). Main goals were iterating and improving my U.S. stock and crypto options trading curriculum—added more Delta-neutral and arbitrage strategies.
2025 goal: Focus on options trading and teaching. Professionalize Sober聊期权 studio operations, find more talented, passionate options enthusiasts to collaborate.
Answer 4:
Focused on BTC and Sol options trading. Trade Doge, Kas, Ordi options occasionally—but altcoins represent ~10%. Most hot topics and sectors are beyond my understanding—won’t spend energy there.
Answer 5:
Hope everyone plays steady, finds their passion and dives deep—wish you massive wealth in 2025.
18. William Lu (@WilliamLu126):
Answer 1:
Most successful: Went long from $40K to ~$70K in February.
Most failed: In August, amid Nikkei crash, assumed market turned bearish—switched from bull to bear strategy, suffered heavy losses during subsequent 8–11 month consolidation.
Answer 2:
BTC ETF approval—marked Bitcoin’s genuine acceptance by traditional capital, allowing institutions full compliance in BTC investment.
Answer 3:
No specific flags in 2024. Previously thought I suited secondary asset management—our fund size is decent, strategy capacity fine, only trade BTC and ETH. Had a strategy named Zion 2024-1 on Matrixport, met many investors, but later felt stretched—left it to fate. Returns were okay, but Q3/Q4 misjudgment made final results unsatisfactory. Looking ahead to 2025, I’ll play steady—market rewards survivors.
Answer 4:
After witnessing too many altcoin scams since 2018, I rarely touch alts now. Maybe small sums for short trades. So no particular sectors—basically only follow BTC and ETH. This cycle, ETH performed poorly—allocated some fearing missing out, but ultimately realized only BTC is digital gold.
Answer 5:
Hope everyone makes big money—but after big wins, withdraw profits and allocate wisely.
19. UNICORN🦄 (@0xUnicorn):
Answer 1:
Most successful: Added to BTC position at $17K, catching the rebound;
Most regretful: Swapped BTC at $60K+ into ETH at ~$4K, missing BTC’s subsequent performance.
Answer 2:
BTC ETF advancement—key milestone connecting crypto and traditional finance, directly boosting market sentiment.
Answer 3:
2024 goal: Outperform BTC—failed, underperformed BTC but beat ETH. 2025 goal: Add a zero to assets—grow sustainably with risk control.
Answer 4:
Focus on AI, DeSci, quantum-resistant tech, yield assets, DeFi, and MEME sectors. Combine on-chain trading with trending narratives—target high-liquidity, market-recognized sectors. Strategy: Steady progress, narrative-driven, flexible adjustments.
Answer 5:
Stay long-term, seize core opportunities—break cognitive limits in 2025, hope your assets add a zero too!
20. Murphy (@Murphychen888):
Answer 1:
Most successful: Accurately captured BTC’s trend红利, earning unexpected returns.
Most failed: Chose ETH over SOL—missed SOL’s stronger performance.
