Top Projects in the Sui Ecosystem in 2024
This article will introduce you to the most popular projects in the Sui ecosystem in 2024, selected from two dimensions—community attention and data metrics—covering various sectors including infrastructure and DeFi.
Author: Sui Chinese Assistant, Sui Network

Over the past year and a half, projects built on the Sui mainnet have brought a record number of users to Sui—the most innovative and high-performance blockchain ecosystem. Users flocked to DeFi protocols that achieved early success on the network, while also exploring media services, NFT markets, and gaming.
As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on the most popular projects during Sui’s first full calendar year. Some of these projects launched alongside the Sui mainnet in 2023, while others rose rapidly to prominence this year.
For each project, builders learned how to program with the Move language and leveraged features such as composable objects and Kiosk. They utilized Sui’s unique innovations like zkLogin and sponsored transactions to streamline user onboarding as much as possible. Ultimately, their efforts earned recognition from the Sui community and rapid adoption by users.
Top Projects by Community Engagement
To identify the most popular projects on Sui, we combined two dimensions: community engagement and data metrics. First, we compiled a list of the top 30 projects based on active accounts and activity volume. Then, we invited representative Sui community ambassadors to select the projects they found most noteworthy from this list. Finally, we conducted a Discord vote to determine the rankings.

Note that account and transaction metrics favor on-chain projects, while some highly popular games may use Sui for digital asset trading but conduct most of their activities off-chain via binary systems. Therefore, we aim to provide a credible perspective on the projects that garnered the most community attention in 2024.
