CryptoQuant: If Current Supply-Demand Trends Continue, Ethereum Could Break $5,000
Analysts at CryptoQuant stated that according to valuation metrics, if current supply-demand dynamics persist, Ethereum could surpass $5,000.
They emphasized that Ethereum’s realized price band is a key metric in their assessment. Realized price represents the average acquisition price of all circulating ETH. The upper bound of this band is currently $5,200. As new buyers purchase Ethereum at higher prices, this upper threshold continues to rise, signaling further upside potential in the current market cycle.
Animoca Brands Co-Founder: NFTs Will See a Strong Rebound

Regarding recent shutdowns like Nike’s RTFKT project, Siu described them as natural developments in business evolution, stressing that the failure of certain projects does not reflect the future of the entire NFT space.

Sygnum Bank: 2025 Could Be a Turning Point for Crypto Markets; Meme Coin Bubble and Other Risks May Limit Gains
Swiss crypto bank Sygnum released its "Crypto Market Outlook 2025" report, stating that 2025 could become a pivotal turning point for the cryptocurrency market. The report forecasts rising crypto prices driven by sustained institutional inflows, improved regulatory environments, and the potential inclusion of Bitcoin in sovereign wealth funds and central bank reserves.
The report highlights that U.S. government and regulatory attitudes are shifting favorably toward cryptocurrencies, with regulatory improvements particularly benefiting altcoins.
However, risks such as inflation pressures, tightening liquidity cycles, and the memecoin bubble may constrain market gains.
The report also notes that infrastructure innovation has become a focal point for the industry. While Ethereum faces challenges, emerging layer-1 blockchains are performing strongly. Additionally, limited access to project revenues for private entities and lack of user growth in some applications are hindering altcoin performance.

Glassnode: Bitcoin Long-Term vs Short-Term Holder Supply Ratio Hits Cycle Low, HODLing Sentiment Weakens
According to Glassnode data, the Bitcoin Long-Term Holder to Short-Term Holder Supply Ratio (LTH/STH Supply Ratio) has dropped to 3.78, a new low for this cycle. This metric reflects the dominance of long-term holders over short-term holders in terms of Bitcoin supply. Over the past 30 days, coin distribution turnover has accelerated, indicating that HODLing is no longer the dominant market behavior. A declining ratio suggests more investors are engaging in short-term trading rather than long-term holding.
Glassnode analysts note this trend differs from historical market tops. Past analysis shows that even during periods of declining long-term holdings, Bitcoin prices may still continue to rise.
Alipay Denies Supporting Direct Cryptocurrency Purchases
In response to online rumors about "Alipay supporting coin purchases," Alipay officially denied the claims via social media, stating, “Seeing a banana ad on X doesn’t mean you can buy bananas on X,” using the analogy to clarify misinformation.
Some social media users noted cryptocurrency-related recommendations appearing on Alipay’s homepage. In reality, these recommendations refer to an investment fund (Huabao Overseas Tech C), whose underlying assets include shares of Coinbase and Bitcoin ETFs—not direct cryptocurrency purchases. Alipay emphasized that its services do not support direct acquisition of crypto assets.
