Transitioning from traditional Web2 to Web3 was not easy for Moonlight.
Prior to entering Web3, Moonlight hosted programs on various traditional Web2 platforms, primarily focusing on music-related content—interviewing musicians and artists, managing social media accounts for overseas artists, and more. By chance, she first learned about Bitcoin and NFTs from her audience. Since she already had a fondness for cute digital art, NFTs became her gateway into the Web3 world.
Moonlight revealed to Huobi HTX that she regularly collects NFTs she loves and hosts shows centered on Web3 projects, giving her deep exposure to the ecosystem. When bull markets arrive, she actively exchanges knowledge with peers and dedicates time outside work to researching new projects. "Web3 trends change incredibly fast, and market attention spans are short—so constant learning is crucial. One key lesson I've learned is this: even while everyone is still focused on a particular project, I need to quickly shift focus and explore emerging trends."
She added that her life largely revolves around work. During active market periods, there’s a constant stream of tasks. Even in quieter times, community management remains critical, with clients from around the globe sending messages around the clock.
The unique nature of the Web3 industry has naturally reshaped Moonlight’s lifestyle and mindset. She told Huobi HTX: "Decentralized work demands strong self-motivation, requiring me to manage my own pace, understand goals, and plan accordingly. No matter what, it takes tremendous effort to stand out in such a competitive environment—I can never let my guard down. At the same time, I constantly strive to maintain mental balance, drawing energy from my work to nourish myself, reshape my thinking, and stay grounded."

When discussing current trends in the crypto market, Moonlight expressed optimism toward AI and zero-gas wallet sectors.
"AI excels at processing and analyzing vast amounts of data, helping crypto users make data-driven decisions with greater speed and accuracy. Zero-gas wallets solve practical issues within blockchain networks, promoting broader adoption and real-world application of blockchain technology."
Besides, Moonlight noted significant differences between this bull cycle and the previous one. For example, NFTs, which were extremely popular last cycle, have seen a sharp decline in trading volume this time around. Similarly, decentralized organizations (DAOs), once widely promoted by many projects and communities, are becoming increasingly rare in this cycle.
Looking ahead to the future of Web3, Moonlight believes more countries will pay attention to the industry and introduce regulatory frameworks, enabling traditional financial participants to engage with Web3 confidently. Additionally, she sees VC standardization as a likely trend over the next 8 to 10 years. "Through various collaborations and practices, we’ll promote more high-quality blockchain applications, changing public perception of blockchain.
