Lumoz's final round of Quidditch testnet concludes successfully, mainnet launch expected in Q4
Lumoz is a globally distributed modular computing network that provides users with a powerful, secure, and flexible computing platform.

Dear Lumozers,
We are thrilled to announce that the final round of Lumoz’s Quidditch Incentivized Testnet has officially concluded on September 27 at 16:00 (UTC+8). This month-long event, launched on August 27, saw enthusiastic participation from regular users, outstanding projects, zkVerifier node operators, and developers. Today, we’re excited to share with you the remarkable achievements of the Quidditch Testnet, as well as provide details regarding the upcoming point redemption process—ensuring a seamless transition from testnet to mainnet.
Testnet Performance Highlights:
-
Regular user participation: 1M+
-
Ecosystem project participation: 30+
-
Node operations: 750+
-
License staking: 58K+
-
Verifications submitted: 7,230,356
-
Total community size: 1.6M+
This Quidditch Incentivized Testnet introduced Lumoz's specially developed Quidditch Bot Telegram game, where participants enjoyed immersive gameplay while sharing a prize pool of 50 million esMOZ tokens. The event received support from over 30 leading ecosystem partners including OKX Wallet and Bitget Wallet, who contributed generous rewards and designed unique tasks, significantly enhancing the overall user experience.

At the heart of the event, participants ran verification nodes by staking tokens, experiencing firsthand the decentralized nature of the network. By the end of the campaign, there were 752 active nodes, with 58,183 licenses staked by 154,414 participants, collectively submitting 7,230,356 verifications. These figures strongly demonstrate the stability and scalability of the Lumoz network.
Points Inquiry and Redemption
A total of 50 million points were distributed during this event. Points were earned through various activities such as catching the Golden Snitch and converting via Magic Stones, completing ecosystem partner missions, and performing advanced tasks like node testing. Distribution was based fairly on participation level, contribution, and task completion, with every point treated transparently and equitably.
Participants can currently check their in-game points via the Leaderboard within the bot. Please note that point data from the other 25 ecosystem campaigns is still undergoing final auditing, expected to be completed by October 10. After that date, all users will be able to view their cumulative points across all stages at the official Lumoz Points portal.

Point redemption is a top priority for our community. According to official documentation, the 50 million points can be redeemed 1:1 for 50 million esMOZ tokens. Holders of esMOZ will gain governance rights within the Lumoz ecosystem. To ensure long-term stability, the conversion ratio between MOZ and esMOZ will vary over different time periods. Additionally, esMOZ will have a reasonable lock-up period, and redemptions can be canceled at any time. Mainnet Launch: A New Chapter Begins
Lumoz is a globally distributed modular computing network, offering users a powerful, secure, and flexible computational platform. This unique architecture not only delivers high performance but also enables customized solutions across diverse use cases. Within this context, the launch of the final testnet phase—Quidditch Testnet—was a critical milestone.
In the first half of this year, Lumoz successfully closed its Pre-A and strategic funding rounds, raising a total of $14 million, with a post-money valuation of $300 million. Participating institutions include OKX Ventures, HashKey Capital, KuCoin Ventures, Polygon, and IDG Blockchain—clear recognition from the capital markets of Lumoz’s potential and future prospects. This strong financial backing empowers Lumoz to further innovate and enhance its technology and products.
With the testnet now complete, the team is actively preparing for the Lumoz mainnet launch and TGE. The mainnet will inherit the best features of the testnet—high performance, robust security, and excellent scalability. We plan to deploy and support multiple L2 solutions, further develop existing products such as ZKFair and Merlin Chain, and launch additional L2 chains to deliver innovative solutions across industries, advancing the entire blockchain ecosystem.
Final Thanks and Outlook
To date, Lumoz has successfully operated three testnet phases. The success of the Pre-Alpha, Alpha, and Quidditch testnets would not have been possible without every contributor. Your enthusiasm, feedback, and suggestions have been invaluable to Lumoz’s growth. We extend our deepest gratitude to the 200+ ecosystem partners and millions of community members who have supported us since day one.
Built upon these past successes, we are confident that the Lumoz mainnet launch and TGE will achieve great results.
Let us move forward together, witness the dawn of the zero-knowledge computing era, and co-create a brilliant future for Lumoz!
