Kuala Lumpur, July 27 — Malaysia Blockchain Week (MYBW) promises to engage both seasoned Web3 enthusiasts and curious newcomers through an immersive on-site experience at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL).
MYBW kicks off with a series of satellite events across Malaysia starting July 25, culminating in the main event from July 31 to August 1.
Preliminary Events

The week will feature over 40 side events, including the BRIDG3 hackathon hosted by Growth Charger, where innovators and tech enthusiasts will bridge Web 2.0 and Web 3.0; Crypto for Beginners networking sessions to introduce novices to cryptocurrency fundamentals; the OffChain Global Conference exploring the full scope of Web3; esports tournaments for emerging Web3 game Matr1xfire; and many more.

Those familiar with blockchain communities know about airdrop farming—users actively hunt and participate in airdrops to accumulate as many tokens as possible by discovering new projects and completing tasks.

The main event will feature two full days of expert talks centered around five key themes: regulation; blockchain and traceability; decentralized finance and Islamic digital economy; NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and gaming; and AI—pushing Malaysia to the forefront of blockchain innovation.
