Lurk in obscurity, then engage with Bitlight, the RGB protocol infrastructure project
The market rewards those who are resilient and hardworking.

Market trends come and go, constantly shifting.
Dried-up liquidity to some extent determines the market's attitude of "caring, but not for long" toward a wide variety of hot topics. After all, good ideas are the cheapest commodity here—missing one trend just means waiting for the next. And if no new trend emerges immediately, that’s fine too. The ever-changing market movements continue to grip retail investors’ attention, further fragmenting already scattered focus and liquidity into even smaller pieces.
When even the broader market can barely keep up with itself, how many people still pay attention to projects that were briefly popular months ago?
But perhaps gold lies hidden in forgotten corners.
The RGB protocol could be considered one such case—"once in the spotlight, now part of the ignored." It had a brief moment in the sun months ago during CKB's price surge.
We won't dive deep into the RGB protocol here, since this is an airdrop guide! Today, our focus is on Bitlight Labs, an infrastructure builder within the RGB ecosystem focused on trading.
In February this year, Bitlight Labs announced it had completed its seed funding round. While exact figures weren’t disclosed, the investor lineup was solid.

How Should You Participate?
In April, Bitlight Labs launched its first Bitcoin wallet supporting RGB20 assets: Bitlight Wallet, along with the first season of its token airdrop campaign.
Our participation today revolves around interacting with the Bitlight Wallet and completing tasks on their website.
-
Download Bitlight Wallet and Create a Wallet
Plugin download link:

Follow the steps to create your wallet, and make sure to securely store your recovery phrase!

-
Connect to the Bitlight Website
After setting up your wallet, visit the Bitlight Airdrop Page, click “Connect Wallet,” and also link your Twitter account. Connecting Bitlight Wallet to their own site is seamless and offers a smooth user experience.

-
Task List
After linking your wallet and Twitter account, you’ll have four tasks to complete:
-
Follow the project’s official Twitter account
-
Join the official Telegram group
-
Complete your first transaction on the Bitcoin testnet
-
Complete your first RGB20 asset transfer transaction on the Bitcoin testnet

The first two social media engagement tasks require no further explanation. However, the last task currently has a bug preventing the creation of RGB20 assets, which the team is still fixing—so we’ll skip it for now. Let’s focus instead on completing the tBTC transfer.

-
Get Testnet BTC (tBTC)
First, get tBTC from a faucet site:
https://bitcoinfaucet.uo1.net/send.php
https://cryptopump.info/send.php
https://faucet.bitvmcn.xyz/
Here are three recommended sites where you can claim testnet coins. Simply enter your address as shown in the image. It’s advisable to use multiple sites to collect more tBTC.

-
Transfer tBTC
Once the funds arrive, send a transaction to any address—amount doesn’t matter.
Note: Bitlight currently requires relatively high fees. You may need to claim testnet coins several times before having enough balance to initiate a transfer. If you still get errors despite sufficient test coins, try customizing the gas fee and increasing it slightly.

You can send it to another wallet of your own or directly to the editor’s address:
tb1p02zm2dnprmeg9g40x6hsvhh6mwtadr0jkmvsj00xge9w3xw34mrs7cpp85
After the transaction completes, return to the airdrop frontend—the task should now show as completed.

Conclusion
That’s it—currently all interactive tasks for Bitlight have been completed.
The BTC ecosystem is still in its very early stages, and the RGB protocol is one of the more actively exploring players within it. A period of intense hype followed by cooling off might just be the perfect time to get in—especially when this "bottom fishing" doesn’t cost you real money.
In a market where attention is fragmented, participating in previously notable projects while they’re being ignored—could this be another form of bottom fishing?
The market rewards perseverance and diligence. Farming during obscurity may mean the harvest isn’t far off.
