The VGX Foundation has announced a partnership with the popular web game Honeyland to reward players with the VGX token.
VGX is a multi-chain compatible token focused on utility within GameFi and gaming ecosystems.
Honeyland is a blockchain-based casual strategy game popular on iOS and Android platforms and one of the leading games on Solana. Through this new collaboration, holders of Genesis Eggs, Bees, or Queens will receive VGX rewards based on a snapshot taken at 17:00 UTC on June 6, 2024. Thanks to its previously announced partnership with Gala Games, players who receive VGX will be able to bring their tokens into Gala Games, where they can purchase the Voyager: Ascension season pass and unlock access to GVGX rewards.
In addition to VGX rewards for Genesis holders, from June 12 to June 19, all Honeyland players can obtain a VGX-themed Mad Hatter-style hat cosmetic item for free in the Honeyland makeup shop. This cosmetic can be fused with any Bee, enhancing the Bee's ability stats upon fusion.
