If you paid attention to various airdrops, you may have earned over $50,000 in 2022. If you know where to look, there will be plenty of opportunities to earn money in the coming months.
Below are the top airdrop opportunities you should prepare for in Q1 2023.
1. zkSYNC
zkSync is set to launch its first zero-knowledge EVM chain on Ethereum next year. Highly anticipated, the team has already raised nearly $500 million.
Given the already high demand, we’re likely to see a massive ecosystem emerge around zkSync.
The team has announced that 2/3 of future zkSync tokens will be allocated to the ecosystem. Part of this may be airdropped to testnet users and early mainnet adopters.
2. LayerZero
LayerZero is an "omnichain interoperability protocol"—a platform focused on connecting blockchains. They've developed several products, such as Stargate Finance.
The $ZRO token has been confirmed and could launch within just a few months.
3. Arbitrum
This could be the most anticipated airdrop, so many people are trying to qualify. Despite high participation, due to Arbitrum's scale and recent user growth, the value could still be substantial.
While there’s no guaranteed way to qualify, I expect that once the Arbitrum Odyssey campaign resumes, it will likely be a key path to receiving the airdrop.
Other than that, I recommend simply interacting with several native dApps.
4. Optimism
Optimism decided to allocate 19% of the total $OP supply to users as an airdrop. So far, only 5% has been distributed—some early Optimism users earned over $30,000 in the first round.
They are likely to conduct several more airdrops over the coming years. The primary way to qualify for the first round was completing tasks on Optimism.
You could collect 18 NFTs, but the challenge ended in mid-January. More tasks appear to be coming later.
5. Rage Trade
Rage Trade is one of the fastest-growing DeFi protocols on Arbitrum, offering multiple products such as:
⬩ Delta-neutral GLP vaults
⬩ ETH perpetual contracts
Rage Trade does not yet have a token. However, the token name $RAGE has been confirmed, and an airdrop is highly likely.
